The Unexpected

*AN: Hi! My friend made me do this for the chapter. It is really hilarious when things like what I am going to write happens. I am sorry that my chapters are not longer, they are 4 pages each chapter on paper. I have the plot planned out perfectly, but I have no ideas for the future chapters. Many thanks to my good friend GraceGrrl! Make sure to check out her stories: Miss Ravens Talent Facility and Midknight Faerie! I know she has a new book but I forgot the name. I was thinking of writing another story where everyone dies in the end and it is all overly dramatic and stuff. Leave a comment and tell me if you think I should or should not*

L and Light went up to Misa's floor, while the rest of the task force and I stayed and watched on the Large Television screen. L was right the audio was messed up. I could see Light yelling something at Misa, Misa crying and L trying to stop Light, but I could hear nothing. It was as if I had gone deaf. I opened my mouth to speak to make sure I hadn't, but Matsuda beat me to it.

"What's going on up there?!" Matsuda said in his unusually loud, obnoxious voice. Now L and Light were fighting.

"Someone needs to do something!" said Cammie as if it were not obvious enough already. I could see them kicking and throwing each other across the room, even though they are chained together. The fight was getting more and more intense until Cammie yelled again, "Someone DO something!" I could see Matsuda reaching for the phone as she yelled. I was surprised L and Light did not hear her.

"No, they are adults, they can work it out on their own. Doing something may make one of them, Light, turn against us, me, and totaly murder someone, L. I am not saying he is kira, it was merely an expression." I responded as Matsuda slowly drew his hand back.

"She's right, Matsuda. We all know they will stop fighting on their own or Misa would do something to make them stop. They both need to stop acting like 5 year olds and start acting like adults. If we interfere, they will not learn for themselves." Said Mogi. We all turned to stare at him. "What?" He asked defensivly, "I got a degree in teaching kindergarden in college." That makes perfect sense. At least we know there is someone mature here.

" Okay first of all I agree with you and second of all you sound like my mother, she IS a kindergarden teacher."

"I don't sound like a woman! At least I think I don't." Everyone laughed except for Mogi. "What's so funny?!"

I sighed and again looked to the screen. They were still fighting. I knew right then that they would not stop anytime soon if we did not do something and one of them, Light, would end up in the hospital and the other, L, would end up with the world knowing who he was. I quickly snatched the phone and called Misa's number. I saw her take her phone out of her pocket and look at the screen. "Hey, Abberleigh!" She answered loudly. That was all it took for the guys to stop fighting.

"Wow! I knew Misa was good, but I did not know she was THAT good!" We all turned to Matsuda and gave him a what-the-heck look. 

"She's not that stupid." Mogi stated quietly. At least the fight was over. 

A few hours latter I was walking down the hallways in the Kira Task Force building, not knowing what I was doing or where I was going, just going where my instincts led me, until I was stopped by Light. "What are you doing not handcuffed to L?!" He looked annoyed with me. 

"Are you seriously dating Grant?!" I was confused for a moment, I thought he knew. Then he kissed me. I immedietly pushed him off me and slapped him. Before he could recover, as I had slapped him really hard, I ran to Misa's room and knocked loudy on the door, desperate to get inside.

I heard the door creak open as Misa stepped out, her eyes filled with sleep. "What are you doing up so late?" She looked annoyed, too. I could understand her being annoyed because I just woke her up from her dreams of Light.

"Your boyfriend just kissed me!" She wanted to know why I was up so late so I told her. I saw the sleep drain from her eyes as anger took its place.

"What?! Light kissed you?! I am going to kill him!" Next thing I knew, Misa was running downstairs, screaming like a maniac. I raced down after her. I honestly really wanted to know what she was going to do to him. I saw her kicking Light's shins and punching his chest.  Then he dragged her to a place I could not see, so I followed them.

I ended up walking down a long, dark hallway int the middle of the night, not knwoing what I was doing or where I was going.  I saw Misa and Light whispering to each other. I quickly hid and strained to hear what they were saying. I could make out few of the words. The words were: kill, criminal, and shinigami.

They were talking aboout kira, i strained my ears to hear more, but I fell with a loud thud in the middle of the floor. 

*AN: What do you think? Hate me for making Light kiss Abberleigh? Please do not hate this chapter. No this is not the end of the book because her dream came true. The book will be much longer. Sorry for not uploading quicker, but my idiot teachers gave us all our projects to do at the same time so ya.
