She's so beautiful. The way her eyes light up as talks and when she throws me a smile over her shoulder, it throws me off guard.
"Come on! Let's give this thing some food. It's a little skinny"
"Well, what are you waiting for?"
"You still need to pick an animal. DUH."
"Okay, I'll have the turtle."
"Good choice! Now let's goooooo!!!!"
"Okay, okay."
Alex dragged me over to the stuffing machine and she kept babbling on about the most random things as the puppy was brought to life.
"Do you want to give it a heart?" The worker asked in a monotone voice.
"Please."
"I'll put it in."
"That's what he said."
"Oh my god. Really Alex?"
"What? I'm hilarious!"
"Whatever."
I place the heart in the now stuffed animal and blush, knowing the act was cheesy. Then I felt lips pressed to my cheek and smiled.
