Adrien's P.O.V.
All I hear is a large crash and the shattering of glass before I hurry outside the classroom, Plagg at my side. All the windows have been blown inwards and dark clouds have started to leach in from the outside. Stormy Weather, again?
"C'mon, Adrien, this is no time to stop and think," Plagg interrupts my train of thought, "we need to get moving. Ladybug'll be here soon and she's gonna need help."
Nodding, I head down the hall and turn the corner, aiming for the empty lounge that never seems to be occupied. As I push open the door, I freeze. Someone's already here. Two someones, actually. It's Marinette and a kwami. She's small and red with two long antennae, big blue eyes, and a large black dot on her head. It's my Lady's kwami, no doubt, but that would mean...
"Tikki, spots on!" Marinette shouts, suddenly engulfed in a flash of light.
I can't move or speak or think. I'm stuck staring as the love of my life appears before me. She's smiling, her Miraculous strapped to her side. I know who she is...I FINALLY know who she is.
"C'mon, Adrien, you can't let her see us," Plagg hisses, "let's go."
Reluctantly, I slink away and find an an abandoned boys' bathroom to transform in. Once I'm Chat Noir once again, I dash over to find my Lady already deep in battle with Stormy. She hasn't had to use her Lucky Charm yet but with the way things are going it looks like she might have to soon. I dash forward just as Stormy sends out a bolt of lightning towards Marinette, pulling her to then side and out of harms way.
"'Bout time you got here, cat," she grunts, "Stormy Weather here is giving me a bit of trouble."
"Sorry, I was a bit occupied," I reply, jumping to by feet and pulling her with me, "I do have a life, you know."
"Okay, Chat Noir, you win this one," she concedes, "but that's only because we need to get to work."
"You think the akuma's in her parasol, again?" I ask, dodging another bolt.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure," she nods, "I don't see why things would change up all the sudden."
Stormy cackles, "You're going down, Ladybug! I will get your Miraculous!"
"How do you want to do this, LB?" I yell over the howling wind.
"Short and sweet," Ladybug replies, "try not to use Cataclysm if you don't have to. I need you as Chat Noir for as long as possible."
I nod, "Right-o, Ladybug. Staff it is! Let's go!"
The fight goes as planned, short and sweet. After purifying the akuma and sending a very dazed Stormy on her way, Ladybug disappears, only to turn up again at lunch, pale and out of breath. I can barely contain my excitement for the rest of the day. I want to talk to her so badly, but I know if I do my cover will be blown.
"So, what're you gonna do?" Plagg asks on the car ride home.
"Keep my mouth shut, for now," I answer, "I don't know how she's gonna react if she finds out I'm Chat Noir. I mean, Marinette likes me as Adrien but she clearly doesn't like me as Chat Noir."
He ruffles around for some cheese, "How do you know?"
"Don't you think something would have happened by now if she did?" I sigh, "She treats me differently when I'm Chat Noir. Less cute and shy and more like...like a friend."
"Don't worry, bud," he grins up at me, "I'm sure everything will work out."
"Yeah, me, too, Plagg, me, too."
