Ithought that'd be a lot more awkward than it was... Derek is just sitting there on the other beanie bag,blushing... I hope he didn't find that to be too much...

"Well... Feel better now?" I ask shyly. He nods in response.

"Ummmm... I don't know how to tell you this, but... Now I'm kinda wanting to kiss you forever... It was all I thought about the whole time..." Derek states, going redder with each word. awwwwww he's so cute!

"Well, I don't see anything wrong with that. Aren't we all allowed to fantasize at some point in our lives? Come on, smile for me and don't worry!" I encourage. He gives me a weak smile, but nonetheless it's a smile.

"Good. Now, what CoD are we gonna play?" I say. At this he perks up and grabs a case. Modern Warfare, eh? Well this'll be a new experience for me!

"Modern Warfare!" Derek shouts triumphantly, beaming over at me like he already knows I'm gonna get my ass whupped. Suddenly I remember my offer, and pat my lap again in invitation. Hopefully thistime I won't make a fool of myself...

His eyes light up a little, and he runs over to sit down. He acts so different when we're alone together... I like knowing that I bring that out in him. I smile slightly to myself at this thought, then start paying attention to the game.

The controls on CoD are f***ing diffficult to use! He sniped me three hundredtimes over...

“I quit!!!!! Can we just talk instead? I can’t figure out how to use that knife thingy! Why won’t you teach me the controls?” I pout, poking Derek in the side. He jumps a little and giggles, making me chuckle too.

“Well then you’d have a chance of winning… I don’t wanna lose!” Derek says, pouting right back. His face was too cute to resist. I seized the opportunity, gently pulling his face towards me and kissing him gently on the lips, then pulling away to gaze into his sparkling eyes.

“Can… can we be boyfriends? Although I’d rather it be a secret for the time being…” I whisper gently, pulling him into my embrace. He just nods into my shoulder.

“Hmmm… maybe… but at the same time, we need to get to know each other a little better… Oh! How about we play truth or dare?!?” He exclaims. I get a mischievous grin, and he follows suit.

Derek hops up out of my lap, I run over to my backpack, proceeding to take out my itouch, unlock it and open the truth or dare app. Heheheh did I mention it’s designed specifically for teens? The truths apparently range from questions like “who was your first crush?” all the way to “tell about your most embarrassing childhood memory.” Hopefully we’ll get some juicy ones…

*4:50pm*

Wow. That was, err… fun? There are no real words to describe what happened with that game of truth or dare. We ended up having to trade an article of clothing as one of his dares, but he chickened out and we traded socks. Grrrrr. At least I got a truth where I had to describe my dream day. I got mushy and told him that any day with him is a dream day… Well, it’s true!

“James?” Derek breaks my train of thought and snaps me back to reality.

“Uhhhh… I’m going to be completely honest. You’re a great guy and all, but like we decided earlier, let’s hold off on being in a relationship, okay? Please…” Derek trails off, apparently nervous to hear my answer.

“That’s perfectly fine with me. I wouldn’t rush you for the world. Heck, I’m still getting used to the concept of me being into guys at all. Don’t worry, I’m not gonna force anything on you, Derek.” I respond gently and reassuringly. Suddenly I hear a loud crash upstairs. Derek’s eyes go wide, and I can tell something is wrong. I open my mouth to inquire, but Derek quickly shushes me.
