"I can't believe you got us stuck in this situation Eren." You growled as you sat outside the principals office. You, Levi, and Eren were all ordered to go there after the chaotic scene Eren had caused.
"Well that wouldn't have happened if this bitchfaced lo-" "Shut up." Levi had interrupted Eren, causing him to, like Levi commanded, shut up. Maybe they had finally learned each other's places. Or maybe they were just waiting till they got out of school to settle it all. Either way, I was mad at both of them.
"Both of you shut up, you're both at fault here. Levi, you should've never provoked Eren like you did and using me to do so was even more absurd. Eren, even if Levi was about to do something to me you didn't have to go to that extent. Learn some self-control." Eren cursed under his breath and looked away.
"Come in." The principal called from his office. One by one, we all stood up and made our way inside the office, ready to accept whatever punishment we were to receive.
(Time Skip)
After an hour of lecturing from the principal about violence, PDA, and even something about abuse, we got off with janitor duty. Well, by we I mean Levi and I. Eren on the other hand got suspended for three days.
"Text me (Y/N)..I'll be back before you know it." Eren said as he turned his back and walked out the main doors of the school with his mom. I sighed as I watched him go, still conflicted about the whole situation.
"That could've gone better." A voice I was quiet irritated with said from behind me. I breathed deeply and turned around quickly to become face to face with Levi.
"You know, we didn't even know each other until the stupid merge between our classes. I don't understand why you had to mess with me and Eren." I crossed my arms and stared into his grey eyes. Levi stared back and leaned against the lockers close to us.
"So you really don't remember me? Shame, I was really hoping for a dramatic reunion." Levi smiled but that smile quickly turned into a frown.
"Some people are just so inconsiderate they can't even remember the people they used to be involved with." Levi didn't wait for my reply, which I wasn't even sure I could give one, and walked away from me. I furrowed my eyebrows and shouted out loud so he would hear me,
"OH YEAH?! WELL MAYBE I FORGOT YOU AND I DON'T WANT TO REMEMBER." Levi immediately stopped once he heard what I had said. He didn't turn around though, and instead said,
"Funny. I don't want you to remember me either. You were always so clingy and obsessive. You never mattered to me."
"Lies. You were everything to me"
"I couldn't care less about you."
"I care so much about you."
"This is a waste of my time." Levi turned and disappeared down the hall. I breathed deeply and said quietly,
"I'm so confused."
(Levi's PoV)
I walked into the boy's restroom and walked into a stall. I slammed the door shut and banged my hands against the door furiously.
"I'm so fucking stupid. She's so fucking stupid. How could she not remember me?! She remembered everyone else, especially him. So why?!" I rested my forehead against the door as I looked down in deep thought.
I knew I had to get over it someday. I truly believed that I could too.
I wanted to forget everything. Our friendship, the accident, and most importantly her. I wanted pretend like I never had any connections to them. But they just had to show up again.
They had to bring all the memories that ruined me back.
(Flashback)
"Levi!" A young 10 year old (Y/N) yelled as she ran over to eleven year old Levi who was silently laying in the grass.
"What is it (Y/N)? Are you okay?" Levi asked as he sat up to look at her. (Y/N) nodded her head and sat down next to him.
"I was just wondering what Eren is doing!" Levi rolled his eyes and said in a cold manor,
"Stop talking about him, he isn't here. He doesn't even like you (Y/N) give up." (Y/N) frowned deeply at Levi's words which soon turned into tears. Levi turned to see a sobbing (Y/N) standing up with her hands covering her face.
"I HATE YOU LEVI!" A look of hurt crossed Levi's face as he watched (Y/N) run away.
"Wait!" Levi quickly got up and chased after her. Levi was quick to catch up, but started to panic when he noticed (Y/N) was headed straight towards the main road.
"(Y/N)! No stop running!" Levi tried to warn (Y/N) but she was just too foolish and oblivious to obey him.
(Y/N) continued to run until she ran right into the middle of traffic. She turned her head to look at her surroundings and looked over to the sidewalk where Levi was anxiously standing.
"L-Levi?" (Y/N) quietly said as she stared at him.
"(Y/N) WATCH OUT!!" Levi screamed at the top of his lungs as a huge white van with immense speed came down the road (Y/N) was standing on.
*BEEP BEEP*
*BOOM*
*SCREECH*
Levi's breath became ragged as he watched in horror as little (Y/N)'s body twitched in front of him. Everything around him became still, all he saw was her.
Levi fell to his knees and touched (Y/N)'s hand.
"I'm so sorry." Tears spilled out of Levi's eyes like a waterfall. He couldn't even see (Y/N) anymore through his own tears. He immediately started to hyperventilate. Levi breathed deeply and whispered,
"I'm so sorry."
