(Your PoV)

Tapping on my phone, I read the time to be only four thirty. The sun was still shining in the sky, and I decided that to waste time, I would take a walk. Just a simple walk to get my mind off of things, or at least try to.

I grabbed my phone and went down my steps, pretending like I couldn't hear my dog begging to go along with me.

Just as I got to the door I sighed and turned around,

"Sorry boy, you can't go with me today. I need to be alone for a while." I shut the door behind me with a small frown, and began walking down the sidewalk.

The air around me felt lonely as I walked by myself. It was as if I wanted to be with someone, to be comforted. But who was I longing for? I looked up at the sky in search for answers, but the only thing I heard was an angry voice calling my name.

"(Y/N)!!" Eren yelled as he walked towards me at an intense speed with no intent of stopping. Fear shot through me as he threateningly rose his fist into the air.

I closed my eyes in fear and waited for the blow but nothing happened.

"Stop this, now." A cool voice warned Eren. I opened my eyes to see Levi standing in front of me, while holding Eren's fist.

"You're so out of control, you almost punched (Y/N) in the face." I glanced at Eren who was staring at me with wide eyes. They were blank but also filled with emotion. Regret, confusion, they were all clear as day.

"Why did I...do that..." Eren lowered his fist and instead grabbed his head in his hands.

Levi crossed his arms and said,

"You're angry because of a stupid rumor that you shouldn't have believed. None of it was true, not even what Ymir said. It was all a lie." Eren didn't know what to say. Nobody knew what to say. I was confused, Levi was annoyed, and Eren was flabbergasted.

Eren was going to say something but Levi beat him to the punch.

"You went and let your anger get the best of you. You believed a rumor about (Y/N) without getting the full story. You called her names and made her depressed. And then you go and try to hurt her? You're pathetic. If you ever try to talk to (Y/N) again," Levi grabbed Eren by his collar and brought him closer.

"If you ever even think about trying to come into contact with her, I'll kill you." Levi turned towards me and grabbed my hand before leading me back to my house.

He didn't stop at the front door though. Levi led me all the way to my room, and shut the door once we were both in.

I stood beside him and whispered,

"What the hell just happened.." Levi sighed and said,

"That fucking idiot. He's out of control." I looked up at Levi with mixed feelings.

"You said something about Ymir..what did she say?" Levi cleared his throat and walked over to sit on my bed.

"Come." He took off his jacket and sat it on the floor, exposing his tight muscles and smooth skin. I couldn't help but blush, and somehow I made my way beside him on my bed. He started,

"I was walking home when I seen Eren, Mikasa, and Armin talking together. I listened in on their conversation and they were talking about us. Ymir popped out of fucking no where and said that she went to talk to you but you were talking on the phone with me, saying that you were glad Eren was out of your life and shit like that." I looked down at my lap and said,

"I never said that.." Levi nodded.

"I know, that's why we have to talk to Ymir and get the truth out of her." I looked up at Levi, who was looking down at me. His expression was completely different from when he was confronting Eren. This expression was one of kindness, one he doesn't care to express often.

"What is it?" Levi's mouth tugged up in a smile as he said,

"You're strong (Y/N), very strong. You're handling this whole thing well, I'm proud of you." Levi carefully wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in for a hug. I smiled and hugged him back, ready to recover the truth. Not alone, no, but with someone by my side.

A/N: the real shits about to go down. Also, longer chapters will come, I promise.
