The next day my feelings seemed like a mix of hatred and loneliness. Not only was Eren gone but I knew if I seen Levi I would probably end up punching him in the face.
I didn't get it, why I was really so angry. The situation was basically over and done with and yet I still felt like I was used just because of old beef between Levi and Eren I couldn't even remember.
I sighed and slumped my book bag into my locker.
"Let's see first period...ugh...Gym.." I dreaded the thought of gym. Not only because I would have to actually be athletic but now that classes were merged, that meant I had to spend Gym class with Levi.
I groaned and headed towards the changing rooms.
(Time Skip)
After I was done changing, the girls in my class and I headed out towards the field where the boys were. I immediately made eye contact with Levi and looked away, searching for a place far away from him.
Once the gym teacher came out he screamed,
"LISTEN UP! Today is going to be a little different then our usual games. Today we're playing soccer. Boys and girls on each team, everyone is an equal player on their teams. Got it?!"
"Yes sir!" Everyone yelled in response. Not soon after did he start counting off heads. I watched as Levi jogged over to the first team, making me close my eyes and pray to be on the opposite team.
"(L/N) you'll be on team two." I breathed out a sigh of relief and ran over to my teammates who seemed to be fired up.
"Alright now that you're all in your teams, pick a captain." Everyone on my team shot their gazes to me.
"What?! Why me?!" One of the boys, I think his name was Kanji, spoke up and said,
"(F/N)-chan, you're a fierce woman and..seems like the other team picked Levi as their captain. No one else wants to go up against him." I looked down and let out a small giggle, which turned into a fit of laughter. I calmed down and grabbed my teammates into a huddle.
"This means war." My eyes shined as I went over a plan to bring Levi to the ground.
Moments later after we all planned everything out, the coach blew the whistle for the match to begin.
I was put on offense, which Levi was as well, and soon enough we were running along each other fighting for the ball.
Levi juggled the ball between his feet, avoiding my attempts to steal it and soon enough made a goal. I panted and looked back to my teammates,
"Don't mind! We can get that one back!" I said what I did with confidence. I was going to win, I had to win.

Point after point, my team was being defeated. I couldn't believe my willpower and skills couldn't help me beat Levi.
It was the last ten minutes in the game and I knew that if I didn't stop Levi now, my pride and revenge plot would be for nothing.
Levi kicked the ball up and quickly started pushing towards our goal. He passed it to a teammate as I sprinted to his side.
"I won't let you win." I said as I followed his every move.
"It's a little late for that. Have you seen the score?" He grunted as I blocked his way from seeing where the ball was.
He stared down at me and said,
"Why are you so angry?" I stared up at him as we both came to a stop. It was a good question. Why was I really angry? I mean yes he did use me and all but was it really so big I had to take it this far?
While I was processing his question, I didn't notice a teammate of his called to Levi so he could pass the ball to him. The teammate kicked the ball, although he didn't measure the distance right and kicked it too hard. I turned to see the ball spinning closer towards my face. I gasped and closed my eyes, waiting for my face to feel immense pain, when nothing happened.
Instead, warm strong arms wrapped themselves around me in a protective way. I grabbed onto the persons shirt out of fear and looked up to see who it was after hearing the harsh sound of the ball being hit against the persons back.
"Levi?! Why did you save me?! You could've won and hell you could've gotten rid of me like you did Eren." I yelled as I pushed him away. He groaned and held his back as the pain clearly showed on his face.
"Stop talking about him. He isn't here. I don't care about him (F/N). All I know is that you can't get hurt because of me. Not again." Everyone quickly ran over to make sure Levi was okay. I stared at him and asked quietly,
"How much about us do I not know?"
A/N: I'm sorry it was short. I assure you a longer chapter is coming and EREN'S POVVVV YASSS and Levi x Reader moments will surely follow I'm sure.
