Chapter 15: I Love you and Goodbye.

(Levi's PoV)

There was no time to think, only to act. I hadn't realized what I had done until I felt the unbearable pain in my abdomen.

(Y/N)'s screams were distant.

Eren pulling Armin to the ground was a blur.

But I knew that as long as (Y/N) was safe, I was okay.

"LEVI!!!! LEVI!!!!!" (Y/N)'s screaming was clear as day to me and even though I knew I was dying, hearing her voice made me feel like I was on top of the world.

"Yeah...I'm..here.." With little to no energy I lifted my hand up to cup (Y/N)'s stained cheeks. She was crying like a baby..ha..she's always the same.

(Y/N) kept yelling out to me, telling me I was going to live. I don't think she was trying to tell me that, I think she was trying to convince herself, even though she knew it wasn't true.

All the background noise and whatnot didn't matter to me anymore.

All I saw was (Y/N).

"You can't die Levi!" (Y/N) yelled at me. I scoffed and smiled weakly.

"Yeah..I know..you stole something..from..me..." (Y/N) looked at me and waited for me to continue.

I took her hand and placed it on my chest, where my heart was slowly beating.

"But you don't...need to give it back, my heart...will always belong to you (Y/N)." At that moment, she started crying even harder.

My hand dropped to the ground because I had no more energy left. (Y/N) took my face into her hands and quickly kissed me like her life depended on it.

Like it was our last kiss.

I kissed her back, with everything I had in me.

Her tears ran onto my cheeks, which mixed in with our kiss. I smiled slightly and groaned as the pain became far more excruciating than before.

I panted and looked up at (Y/N), who was looking down at me.

"I will always..love you (Y/N)..don't you forget that." (Y/N) let out a few sobs before she nodded.

"I love you too."

I smiled, and my heart took its last beats.

I breathed out, but I didn't breathe back in.

(A Few Hours Before)

I tapped on my desk as I glanced back at my phone.

I had texted (Y/N) 5 times and she hasn't answered. It made me anxious, she always texted back.

A knock was heard from the front door, and believing it was (Y/N), I almost ran to open it.

"(Y/- oh." I said with a frown as Eren Jaeger stood before me, panting like a dog.

"What do you want?" I asked with venom in my voice.

"(Y/N)..she..." My interest peaked when (Y/N)'s name came into the conversation.

"She what?!" I asked impatiently.

"She's gone. She's not at home, I think she was kidnapped. No one has seen her at all today." My heart started beating quickly at the thought of someone hurting (Y/N). Without a second thought, I bolted out of my house with only one thing in mind.

(Y/N), where are you?

Eren walked behind me as he said,

"Me and Mikasa were wondering if she was with Armin, since neither of them were answering their phones." I came to a complete stop once I connected the dots.

"Armin..this is all Armin's doing." Eren looked at me with confusion. I sighed and said,

"The rumors, everything, Armin did it. He's in love with you, and wants to hurt (Y/N). Where would he hide her? We need to get to them before death does." Eren started to panic as he said,

"Oh God, I'm so sorry (Y/N) I shouldn't have doubted you I-" "SHUT UP AND TELL ME WHERE HES HIDING HER!" Eren's eyes widened and he said quickly,

"Armin..he has this basement underneath his house, it's sound proof so he probably took her there." I nodded and we both ran as fast as we could to the basement door.

Without much thought, I had kicked the door in. I turned back to see Eren staring at me in amazement.

"C'mon let's go." I nodded to Eren as I made my way through the basement.

Once I made the right turn, I came face to face with (Y/N) on the ground with a gun to her head. Without thinking, I ran over and put myself in front of her.

There was no time for thoughts, just actions.

And I had made my own.

Not based on right or wrong, but in love.

I did what I had to do, for the girl who stole my heart.
