The village gates were looming ahead of him. It's been 2 long years since he's seen them. Or anyone. He went on a journey of redemption and to see the world with his own eyes after the war. The tall trees towered over him, making him feel feel small as an ant. It has been a while since he's seen her but soon enough he will be able to see the pinkette. He doesn't currently feel any emotion for her right now but that doesn't mean he somewhat cared for her. There were countless times where he displayed what little emotion he had left but shrugged it off as something as something a normal that a teammate would do. Walking for a while longer he finally reached the gates. The gatekeepers were alert and were cautious when he started to approach them. Their eyes widened in realisation as they looked at the very man standing in front of them. Uchiha Sasuke. The Uchiha prodigy that went rouge and revenge driven after the slaughter of his clan. They bowed in respect and went back to their positions. He walked past with a cool and calm swagger that made the guards wish they were him. Once inside he immediately jumped from building to building hoping no passer byers would see him and question his presence in Konoha, and headed straight to the Hokage tower. He hopped from roof to roof nimbly avoiding any chimneys that were in his way. While on the roofs a certain balcony with flash of pink caught his eye. He stopped momentarily before resuming to hopping from roof to roof.
Sakura must have grown into a successful young woman. I should meet up with her when all my missions are complete, he thought.

Sakura's eyes twinkled with laughter after the story that Ino just told her. She had did gestures and emphasized some points of the story to make it more interesting.
"I was so sure it was meant for me, like I'm the only girl in Konoha who fits all the things that the poem mentioned and the picture was totally me like, who else would it be?", the Yamanaka scoffed.
Ino was always very confident about her sexual appeal and her image. She thought she was pretty not beautiful; petite but not dainty.
One day, Ino was walking the the busy streets of Konoha when a boy bumped into her. He quickly apologized and ran off. Ino was puzzled for minute but something caught her eye. It was a book. She wasn't sure if she wanted to know what was inside the book but curiosity got to the better of her and she took a look. It was a book full of paintings poems she flicked through them and read some of them. They were beautiful and artistic. A particular painting with a poem had a girl sitting in a meadow of flowers without seeing her face. The poem underneath described the girl with eyes as blue and clear as the sky above, beautiful long hair that was the color of gold, and laughter that was music to his ears. Coincidentally Ino had fit all of the criteria and found her blushing a crimson red. Of course there were many people that fir the criteria but she felt something stir inside nonetheless. For the rest of the day she was found hunting the mystery boy who had a knack with words and were probably well known with the ladies. After half a day of searching she finally started to give up until the devil himself popped up. He asked her what she was doing with the book she was holding and asked her to have it back. Ino obviously obeyed but asked who the owner of the book was. The boy kept quiet and said that the owner of the book was confidential. "Maybe you're the one", he said suddenly with a faraway look in his eyes. The boy who seemed to be the his 'master's' apprentice told her that he couldn't give her the name of his master but only told her that he was one of the greatest artists in Konoha and sometimes the poems helped inspire his paintings. The boy stopped talking and ran off; leaving Ino pondering who this mysterious person was person was.
Ino was in the kitchen washing the dishes while Sakura was sweeping the balcony. She found it quite dusty and knowing Ino, she probably hasn't used it in a while. She stopped to gaze at the stars above and found them to be very beautiful. But in the dead of the night a lone figure was racing across the rooftop with such agility. It suddenly stopped, confused Sakura was wondering to what the figure was looking at and then right at that moment their eyes met. Jade green clashed with onyx and violet. Their eyes locked for one moment before he disappeared. She smiled knowingly to herself that he was finally home.
Morning came and Sakura decided that she needed to check out the twins one more time before she would head off to report to her former sensei, or in other words, the 6th Hokage. She and Ino had a quick breakfast before they got ready and headed off to the hospital together, not knowing that a quite a big surprise awaits them at the hospital

Sasuke downed his breakfast in two minutes flat before he went off to report to the Hokage. He found out many interesting things and learned lots of valuable life lessons that he could never forget. Now that he's finished his journey of redemption he wants to do missions to help the village his beloved brother cared so much for. He approached the Hokage tower and went to knock on the office of his former sensei's door and much to his displeasure he found an unsuspecting surprise. The number one hyperactive knuckleheaded ninja greeted him the moment he set foot in the room.
"Welcome back you bastard, I have soooo much to tell you and we should go out to Ichi – ", before he could finish his sentence, Sasuke knocked him on the head leaving Naruto with a protruding lump growing out of his head. "Oww Sasuke that really hurt what was that for?".
"I have business with Kakashi now leave", he ordered.
"Fine I'll go and accomplish a mission that I have to do, humph", he mocked, his bottom lip sticking out like a child's
The Uchiha and the Hokage sighed. His body may have grown but his mind sure didn't.
"I will catch up with you later Naruto just leave for now", Sasuke hissed irritably.
His baby blue eyes lit up in happiness and a newfound grin plastered over his face. "Hehe sure Sasuke I'll you hang out with me if you really want to", he said coolly.
"Naruto I'll treat you to 5 bowls of ramen if you were to leave us in peace", Kakashi said sweetly.
In the seconds that followed Naruto left faster than you could say 'Ichiraku Ramen'.
Finally they were left in peace. "Sorry I couldn't greet you in a proper way, Naruto was just so happy to see you".
The raventte said nothing. Finally he was able to muster, "Where is Sakura?".
"She's currently at the hospital", he replied
"... What is there for me to do?"
"Well I have the perfect thing for you, and you may be able to meet Sakura in the process", he said with a twinkle in his eye.
"So, give me the details".
