SELENA'S POV: It's been 2 weeks since i broke it off with Nick. I miss him so much. But I can't destroy a friendship of 8 years over some guy. Joe and I have been getting along much better and I think closer than we were before. He told me that he's been crushing on some girl named Taylor Swift. I never met her but he says that she's the kindest girl he ever met. Besides me of course. I open my locker and a picture falls out from the corner. I pick it up and it's another picture of Nick & I. He's been putting pictures in my locker since we broke up. He keeps trying to get back together. I would love to but I can't risk loosing Joe's friendship again.Iv'e been missing Nick so much that i'm kinda been a bit down. I put the picture back in my locker and take out my math book.
-"Hey, after school you want to go to the movies?" Joe asked.
-"I can't. My Uncle wants to have a conversation with me." I reply.
-"About?"
-"I don't know."I said with a un-interested voice.
-"You've been acting very different lately, are you okay?" he asked
I take out my history book and the same picture falls out ...again. Ugh great timing. Joe picks up the photo and looks at me.
-"Another picture...He really wants you back." He says looking at the picture. He turns it around and see's that Nick wrote something behind it. It read: "You'll always be in my heart"

I take the picture from him and put it back in my locker.
-"It's fine. He'll get tired eventually." I said closing my locker.
-"What if he doesn't?" he asked.
I don't say a word. I just stay silent. I don't know what to say. Anything could set Joe off.
-"Do you have feelings for him still?"He asked.
-"No, Joe why are you asking me this?"
-"I'm just curious" He replies.
-"Well stop. It's creeping me out." I said
-"Hey, If you still have feelings for him. You could date him. I didn't think it was this serious with you two but it's ok with me if you want to be with him. He obviously has made it clear that he wants to be with you and I wouldn't be a good friend if I keep you from your happiness and if you do date, I'll give him a chance." He says.
My heart just dropped and in a good way but i can't tell if he's being sarcastic or if he's talking seriously, with Joe you can never tell.
He kisses my cheek and says "see you later" and walks away, leaving me with my thoughts. Now I know he was serious. Finally Joe accepts Nick. I have to go and tell him.
