Chapter 14 (final)

I take one more drink before deciding to go to Selena's House. I need to make things right. I screwed up badly.
I start driving like I immediately know where to go. The beach house. I take a few steps and before I knock the door opens.

-"Nick....What are you doing here?"
-"Just one question, Do you love me ?" I cried.

Silence. She just looks down to her feet.

- "It's just a simple question, Sel."

She glares at me. I knew what the answer was..

-"I 'loved' you." She replies.
-"I'll leave you alone" I whispered.
-"Since we were 18" she whispers.
-" What?"
-" I have loved you since we were 18" she answers.

I smile. I smile of relief. I smile because it's everything I've ever wanted. Everything I've always waited for. It's everything.

-"Now Nick, I'm going to kiss you in about ten seconds" she smirks as she steps closer to me.

I laugh. She's reenacting one of my favorite moments with her.

-"and if you don't want me to kiss you. Well if you don't want me to I guess your just going to have to stop me ". She smiles.

-"1...10" She kisses me.

It's like all our problems went away and it's just us in the world. I promise I won't let her go this time. It's forever.

A YEAR LATER
A year has gone by and I couldn't be happier. Joe and Demi had a baby girl. Her name is Lizeth. Selena moved out of her uncles house and lives at the beach house and I go over every night after work and you know 😉 stop thinking dirty cause we just cuddle and watch movies. But sometimes we you know 😉😉
Today is Selena's birthday and I wanted to do something special. I invited everyone to Selena's house for a surprise birthday party. Joe and I finished putting up the banner when we hear the door knob tingle. We immediately turn off all the lights, the door slowly opens. The lights turn on and everything jumps "SURPRISE!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" She just covers her hands over her mouth shocked.

-"Wow. I.. am .. totally surprised. I didn't even notice all the cars parked outside of my house." She joked sarcastically.
-"I could never surprise you. Happy birthday my love " I kiss her gently. "I love you " she whispers back. She goes one by on and hugs everyone. And now the party begins.

LATER THAT DAY
After everyone leaves, the gang which is Demi , Joe, Selena and I decide to drink and watch Harry Potter. After the movie was Demi looks at me and winks.

-"Okay , well it's getting late so we should probably go." Demi says as she gets up.
-"It's sweetie it's only 5:20pm" Joe replies.
-"Yeee..aah but it looks like it's gonna rain and you know I hate the rain"
-"You love the rain" Joe answers .

She glares at him and he gets scared and stands up.
-"I guess we'll be going now." They hug Selena and leave.
-"What was that about?" She chuckles.
-" They're a weird bunch. Well I have to go to work"
-"Wait what ? I thought you could stay the night."
-" I can't.., I have a thing". I kiss her and rush out the door .
-" A thing ????" She questions.

WITH DEMI

-"Where is it?" I ask

She hands me a small vintage jewelry box.

-"She's gonna love it, it has a ballerina and plays a lullaby "
-"Just what she wanted " I replied.
-"She's lucky to have you" she smiles.
-"I'm the lucky one ".
