I shout as me and Kyle enter my house.
Daniel smiles and Joey does to.
"How was your first day?"
Joey says excitedly. I chuckle and me and Kyke sit down on the couch.
"It was great. I felt so mature. It's like a job"
I say pulling out my worksheets from my bag.
"Minus the whole school part."
Kyle adds.
"Tell us all about don't leave out any details!"
Daniel says joining us on the couch.
Oh brother. This is gonna take awhile.

I shout out the door to Kyle before closing it.
"Well. That's done."
I say heading over to the kitchen.
"So Norabella, I have a question."
Daniel asks stirring chicken fried rice or something.
"Shoot."
I reply sitting up on the counter.
And I pick up my water bottle.
"Do you have a crush on Kyle?"
WHAT.
I start choking on the water.
"Oh gosh, no."
Lie.
"You're lying!"
Joey adds in.
They're so annoying
Sometimes.
"No. I don't."
I say crossing my arms.
"You totally do!"
Joey says chuckling.
These grown men are no better then 2 high school girls.
"I'm 10 years old!"
I shout back.
"Alright alright."
Joey says putting his hands in defense.
"But let's say, if you did, would you tell us?"
"Y'all are fathers not mothers."
I say chuckling.
Joey rolls his eyes.
"I'd clearly tell the females I know."
"And who are they?"
Joeys asks.
"Cat, Meghan, Colleen, Hope, Stacy? The women who teach me girl things."
I say hopping off the counter and opening the fridge.
"Y'know, not all things girls can tell their dads."
Joey whips a fake tear from his eyes and Daniel sighs.
"And that's what makes all the more annoying."
Daniel says.
I chuckle and walk back to my room.
