"Norabella can we talk to you?"
Dad asks me as he opens the door.
"Yeah sure. One sec Piper"
She nods and I stand up and follow Daniel to their room.
Am I in trouble? I don't recall slapping anyone as of late.
"What's going on?"
I ask as i see the seriousness on their faces.
"Don't worry. Nothing bad... We just wanna ask you something"
Joey adds on.
I nod slowly.
"Well... We wanna ask you before we make any big discussions like this,"
Daniele starts,
What are they even talking about?
"We would like to ask, how you would feel about us adopting anything child?"
Joey asks.
WHAT!? ARE THEY SERIOUS?
"What?"
I say standing up with a big grin on my face.
"Well you see the-"
Joey begins to say, but I'm to excited oh my gosh!
"Yes yes yes yes yes! Adopt someone else!"
I squeal.
"You don't think we're replacing you or anything? We just wanna give another child a good ho-"
Daniel begins
"Yes yes yes yes yes! Give a child a home oh my gosh yay!"
I shout jumping up and down.
I'm going to be a sister!
Oh my gosh!
I AM GOING TO BE A SISTER!
"What age? What gender? What's the name?
GIVE ME DETAILS!"
I shout, still jumping! Yay!
Joey and Daniele chuckle but continue.
"Well we were thinking about adopting a baby boy"
"Ahh!"
I scream. I'm so happy.
"That's perfect yes I love it get a baby!"
Daniel and Joey laugh again.
"And we do have some names picked out"
Daniel informs me.
"Okay. What are they?"
I grin.
"Okay we have, Nicholas, Kane, Broodie, Max,"
Joey goes on
Ew those names are gross.
"I have a name"
I state holding up my finger.
"Okay. What?"
Joey chuckles.
"Harvey"
I say.
Joey and Daniel glance at eachother.
"Harvey?"
They say in unison.
"Yes! It's unique. So when other kids meet him they'll be super jelly of his name"
Like duh.
"I actually do kinda like Harvey"
Joey says.
"But we still have a long while to go before we can get him."
Daniel explains.
"This is amazing. I'm going to be an older sister."
I squeal bouncing in my seat.
Joey and Daniel smile at eachother.
Oh my gosh.
