I'm so angry.
Kyle hasn't even called to say goodnight!

I walk out of my class.

I walk down the halls and go to my locker.

The bin bag asks.

"Yes. Jessica right?"
I reply back with a sassy tone.
"It's Kessica."
She corrects sternly.

"Kessica? Was that a mistake in your birth certificate or something?"
I ask.

She scoffs.
She is such a bad word.

"We're you a mistake or something?"

I look right into her eyes.

She seems to regret what she said but it's way to late.

"Yes. Do you think I wanted this particular life that I have? Cause I wish with everything in my power that I grew up with Joey and Daniel. But instead I got an alcoholic father then abused me and my mom and then killed her.
Kyle is the other friend I've ever had.

And now I don't have him.
Thanks to you. He was all I had that kept my sane.
Now I don't have him.
And never again speak of my mother like you did earlier.
If you knew about my dad you knew what he did to my mother.

I continue to walk and leave her dumbfounded.

I stop though to give her some advice.
Cause she needs it.

"And take care of those splits ends. You look so trashy."
She scoffs and walks away.

Although I am happy with my victory,
I'm so angry at that trash.
I could spit!

I slam my locker shut and walk into the girls bathroom.

I throw my backpack on the ground and let out an angry sigh.

I dot even realize that I'm crying until I feel the gross tears go down my face.
"Are you okay?"
I hear some girl that's in the bathroom ask.

I seriously don't need social interaction right now.

Eh. What the heck. Kyle won't talk to me.

"No."
I say turn around to face her.
She's wearing a pink shirt and jean shorts, white flower crown, and blue flats.

"Aww. I'm sorry. Why?"
She says.

"My so called best friend left me for Kessica."
I say crossing my arms.

"Oh my gosh. I hate Kessica!"
She says.

I reach out my hand.

"I'm Norabella"
I say.
I never had a girl that's a friend before

"I'm Piper."
She says shaking it.

"Wait. Was your best friend Kyle?"
She asks.
I widen my eyes and nod.

"Yeah that's him."
She puts her hand over he mouth.

"That brat! She is so trashy!"
She says.

I think we're gonna be good friends.

"I'm home!"
I say as I open my door to the house.
Piper following me in.

"Aww doggies!"
Piper says as Storm and Wolf run up to her.

"This is Storm,"
I say motioning towards the white dog.

"And this is Wolf."
I say motioning towards the black and white one.

"Norabella?"
I hear Joey call from down the hall.

"I'm here!"
I call back out.

He comes out and smiles when he sees Piper.

"This is Piper. Piper, this is my dad."

"Hello!"
Piper says waving.

"Nice to meet you, Piper.
Is Kyle still not talking to you?"
Joey asks.

"Nope. He was hanging out all day with Kessica"
I reply.

"Yeah. Kessica is super mean."
Piper adds in.

"I'm sorry to here that.
Oh anyways, I'm going to Shanes for a video, Daniel is in the room on the phone with Hope."
He says when he glances at his watch.

"Okay. Have a fun video"
I say picking up my backpack.

He kisses the top of my head and opens and walks out the door.

We finish our homework and spend the next hour or two talking about ourselves and stuff.

"Oh also, who's Daniel?"

Please don't ditch me after I tell you.

"Oh, he's dad 2. I have two of them."

She smiles and nods.

"That's so funny I have two moms. Bria and Crissy."

Phew. Finally someone in the world can relate.

"Dang. You're lucky. Boys are so hard to deal with!"
I say sarcastically.
We both chuckle.

"So, what did Kessica do to you? We used to be sorta of friends. But she stopped hanging out with me once we started school.

"That sucks. And she kept asking me about my mom, and like being pushy"

"She such a jerk. She steals people's best friends away from people."

"I've known Kyle since I was seven, we're so close and he just leaves me for his dumb crush"
I say.

But honestly! Why!?

"He's going to come crawling back to you. And you're super nice. You're probably gonna forgive him. Which is the right thing to do, but, Kessica is never gonna stop being a bully"
Piper says to me.

I doubt he's ever gonna come back.

But at least now I have Piper.
