CASPAR POV
I didn't walk alone that day I arrived at Athena. The presence of my family and the light wind carried me on my feet, whispering me wishes of good luck on my first day.
Because my home lived no more than a short walk away, I needed not a vehicle nor escort to help me to my new boarding school. So I tread alone that faithful autumn morning. Not entirely alone though, for as said earlier, I had the presence of someone with me.
The castle structure that was Athena was so large it could be seen from my window, so I already knew that it was a brilliant sight and a magnificent structure. The shiny marble decor glistened in the sun. Its pearly look gave off an array of regal tranquility.
As I came forth unto the building, I quickly picked up the sound of voices. It startled me to hear so many that were already inside, and I feared entering an area crowded with so many people and voices, but I moved on, for my legs had fallen into a stepping pattern.
Eventually they halted, directly in front of the gate, where I saw the high stone walls built on several bricks perfectly shaped. In the front, cherry blossom trees hung over in an arched shape, providing shade. There was also a fountain of marble and a long walkway. The walls seemed as though they stretched a mile wide, for it was probably a large school and courtyard. Two lion statues guarded a tall and wide iron gate, open to welcome the new students.
It's not like I wasn't used to architecture as fine as this, I lived in a rich town after all, it was just the new opportunity and possibility that made me stunned to see this new school.
I was ready.
The world was at my palms as I stepped through, the astonishment at the wonders that were held inside moving all around me. Students crawled the cobblestone paths across the court, most sitting at polished tables and circling the second fountain. This one was spitting water from all angles.
I hurried around, for now that I had moved several feet in, there was no turning back. The crowds were all around, and it soon became difficult to walk.
I usually composed my self in a proper, strait manner, but now there was no boundaries. The rush to get through began.
And soon the word 'difficult' became 'impossible' when I found that I was only moving in circles. I wanted to grunt and moan but I stayed silent, I had better kept my cool instead of reacting and not staying calm.
I took a faithful and determined stride forward, only to accidentally drop a book that I was carrying. I bent over, reached to grab the textbook but sadly lost balance and tumbled forward.
I lost sight of what happened, but then as I scooped up my book and stood, a gasp rose over the crowd.
I had knocked someone into the fountain.
Sorry it was short, but I'll try to fill more story as the characters are brought together.
Preview: Sky Cumulus only walks through the courtyard and already many students greet the popular and rich idol. She makes her way through the crowds and finds the doors, where she begins her exploration of her new school!
