"I got your letter but now it's my turn to explain." Riley said in a serious tone of voice.
"Okay."
"Do you remember that summer night we all got together at Topanga's and that you left because your mom needed to talk to you..." I contained my tears, she had called to tell me Shawn left her. "And 12 was Lucas carefew at the time. Farkle and I headed home, because we didn't want to say goodbye, Auggie was at Dewey's, mom and dad were out and." She wiped a tear that was falling from her eye. "Maya something happened." She said, not being able to contain the tears anymore. I was shocked, my eyes were wide open and my eyebrows raised. I didn't notice but my mouth was wide open aswell.
"I felt bad for two weeks and you've been cheeting on him for more than two months? Riley, oh my god."
"It wasn't like that. We tried to avoid eachother."
"Wait a second, so you lost your v card before me?"
"Maya! Wait does that mean you and Lucas never..."
"Uh..."
"Never mind. The point is that we were avoiding each other, but we had some sort of break down when classes started, we went on seeing eachother for about two weeks but then decided it was a bad idea, a few weeks later at homecoming, when Lucas and you went to the restroom..." She paused. "And now I understand you weren't at the restroom." I looked down ashamed. "Those minutes you two were away, Farkle grabbed me and kissed me and this whole mess started all over again. We've been seeing each other ever since. Maya I am kinda sad because, I am you're my best friend and I never thought you would do something like this to me, but I can't blame you. Lucas and I weren't working if we both cheated on each other. And the thing must've been pretty bad if we both cheated with our best friends"
"Does this mean you finally get to be with Farkle and I... Do I get to be with Lucas?"
"I guess we'll have to figure that out, but we, we are okay and that's all that matters." I smiled.

Lucas was at my door steps next morning. Riley slept.

"Lucas, what the hell are you doing here?" With no hesetations he leaned forward and kissed me.
"Look, I don't know why we had to go through all of this, but I do know you and I belong together. Oh and for the record, I am going to fight for you."
"You have no idea how long I've waited for you to say that."
"I love you Maya."
"And I love you" We huged before I got back inside. Riley was already up.
"Morning peaches."
"Morning. I went to the groceries store for a sec."
"And where are the groceries?" Stupid. Stupid stupid me. "Yeah, I saw you... You guys look cute together."
"Thanks... You and Farkle have a lot of chemistry."
"I know. More than Lucas and I could ever have."
"Yeah."
"You know what, I have an idea. Why don't we all go on a double date."
"No, no, no, no. Riley, you're smart, this isn't smart."
"No, Maya this is a great idea. Lucas, Farkle, you and I. All at Topanga's on friday at 8."
"Riley I ask you to consider the weirdness of your idea."
"I have Maya, and we're all going to have the best time."
"If you say so." I sighed. How much of a fiasco was this going to be?
