I was tucked in bed when I started hearing weird noises. My mom was home. I could hear the beer bottles' glass breaking in the livng room. My mom was crying and screaming, I stood up and locked my door. In usual circumstances I would've went back to sleep, but time I grabbed my phone.
*Phone Conversation*
Lucas: Maya? It's 3 am, what's going on?
Maya: Can you come over?
Lucas: Um, yeah sure. Be there in 5. Love you*End Of Phone Conversation*
He didn't even ask why he had to be at my place at 3 am.
5 minutes later he was here, he climbed up my window and I helped him get into my bedroom.
"Hey." He whispered.
"Hey, listen, do you mind, um, sleeping over?" I said a little embarrased, I don't even know what I was thinking.
"Not at all, but, what-" My mother yelled as she broke another bottle of beer outside my room. I looked at Lucas, about to break down, he hugged me thight as the tears fell down my eyes. "It's okay. It's okay, I understand." I got under the covers and so did he. We cuddled and everytime we heard a weird sound from outside, he pulled me closer. I was shaking and the tears kept on falling, but finally, I fell asleep.🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Next morning I woke up because of noises, but they were my mother's Riley was struggling to get in through my window. My pijama was unbottoned and my hair was messy, Lucas slept calmly in my bed. I opened the window a little paranoid, I kept on looking at my bed wishing that Lucas would dissapear but he was still there. Riley looked at it herself.
"O-Oh. I can, just come back later." She said.
"No, no, no. It's not what you think it is. My mom, she was a little out of control last night, and Lucas came over to calm me down that's all."
"Maya, it's okay. No need to explain the situation, he's your boyfriend." That was the weirdest thing I had heard Riley said, and I'd heard a lot of weird things coming out of her mouth. Not only weird but relieving.
"Come in Riles. It's saturday, why don't you call Farkle and we all watch a movie on my laptop or something. My mom will probably be gone all day, looking for Shawn in the shadows or something." I sugested while unlocking my door. Lucas woke up and as he saw Riley he picked up his shirt, put it on and got out of bed. All of this in less than 3 seconds.
'Riiiley..." He said as he did this three things.
"Slow down, cowboy." I said giggling. "So, want some breakfast?"
"What do you have?" Riley asked as we all walked towards the kitchen.
"Um, coco puffs, some milk, orange juice... and some cake from my mom's birthday a month ago. Yeah I wouldn't eat that. There's not that much but-"
"Cocoo puffs sound great." Lucas interrupted. I smiled at him. While we had breakfast, Riley called Farkle who was on his way. The day was going pretty well and a lot less weird than I expected. Actually not weird at all, I finally felt like I could kiss Lucas and laugh at he's idiotic jokes without feeling like Riley's gonna puke all over us, and vice versa with her and Farkle. Those two were a couple of weirdos, but some how, together, they seemed to fit.

We finally decided to watching the conjuring on my bed. Lucas and I were cracking up to Riley's reactions to the movie. Her hands were around Farkle's hand so that he could press until he's veins stuck out when she was scared. Farkle just watched and made sure his arm was easy for Riley To grab.
I think that Lucas and I were always ment to be, just as Farkle and Riley were, but that just as a plane needs to go through some turbulences in the clouds before it reaches the sky, we needed to go throug some trouble before we could be with the right people. We all looked at eachother smiling, as we were all thinking the same thing. We laughed and went on watching the movie.
Enjoy, because next chapter is the last one, I'm so depressed😭 But tell me what you want next, a different story, a Riarkle fanfic maybe? A sequel? I'll let you know the options after I post the last chapter. Thanks phoebeblum for the song suggestions, loved them😻
