Chapter 1: run away
My name is Irina I have black hair and brown eyes and I'm 16 years old. I was just checking my e-mails when I got a message. It was him I didn't think I would hear from him again I met him here in New York once we talked and then I gave him my e-mail address. He started talking to me "hey how have you been?" I decided that I wasn't in a good mood I told him and he tried to cheer me up it worked. His name is Alex he has brown hair and blue eyes and he is one year older then me.
It was about time for me to go to school mum was still in bed and dad was at work I had to say good bye to Alex I told him what time I would be home and he said he would talk to me then. When I got to school I was late and I had the worst teacher he made me write I will not be late about 100 times at lunch.
After that I met up with my best friend Jade she was short and had blonde hair it looked as if she didn't brush it this morning. As soon as Jade seen me she gave me a hug she looked a little worried and said "I heard that Mr. Plum gave you detention" Mr. Plum was the nick name we called him behind his back because his face was the shape of a plum. "He let me off easy all I had to do was Write lines" she gave me another hug then we had to go to our next class so we parted.
At the end of the day I had forgotten all about Alex until I got home. When I got home mum was out and dad was still at work he wouldn't get home till about 9pm so I got straight on the computer. We started talking and after about half an hour he said "please don't hate me but I have to tell you this I love you". I didn't know what to say and before I had a chance to reply he logged out and then mum got home. She looked up at me and said "have u done your homework why are you on the computer" I groaned "I'm going" and went up stairs to my room. I didn't even think about my homework I sat on my bed and thought about what Alex said "I love you" it went thought my head all night.
I got up late so mum said that I didn't have to go to school. Today was Friday and I was going to go shopping with Jade this afternoon but since I didn't go to school my dad would never let me go. He comes home early from work on Fridays him and mum always fight so I spent most of my time in my room. When I got up no one was home so I got on mum's computer I have my own it's a lap top but it's getting fixed. I was so tired this morning that I had forgotten about Alex till he sent me a message "hey" I jumped and almost fell of the chair. I straitened my self up and was about to replayed but he beat me to it "about yesterday I'm sorry" I felt kind of bad for him "no its fine" then I heard dads car in the driveway. I was startled and logged out before I said good bye I ran up stairs and jumped into my bed. I heard dad and mum come in the front door they were arguing about money. I lay in bed and listened to them then I drifted of to sleep. Mum woke me up at around 3:30 in the afternoon she asked what I wanted for dinner and dad yelled from down the stairs "she can have what ever she is given" he was still mad that I didn't go to school. Mum whispered that she would make me a toasted cheese sandwich then she went to talk to my dad.
I got out of bed about half an hour after mum woke me up. Dad was shouting as he came towards my room "Irina time for dinner" I got out the door before he reached my room. As soon as he saw me he gave me that look the one that says he's annoyed at me then he turned around and went down the stairs I gave a quite sigh and followed him. When I got down stairs mum was sitting at the table eating, she looked up at me and smiled "Irina came sit down" that tone I knew so well she used it to tell me that my rabbit died when I was four. I hesitated then went and sat across from her and dad she gave me my dinner and then I started eating they were both watching me. I stopped eating and looked up mum smiled your computer came back today it's fixed she handed it to me "thanks" I lent over the table and gave mum a hug. I was about to start eating again when dad said angrily "just tell her" I looked at my mum puzzled and she was looking at dad. Mum said calmly "Irina your father and I both agreed that we are going to send you to a boarding school".
