Lexa's POV

I woke up sitting in a chair, in a hospital room. I looked around confused, but then I saw her.

"Costia?" I asked as I looked at the girl laying in the hospital bed. She looked so beautiful, not sick and pale like I saw her in her last days.

Her dirty blonde hair was wavy and clean and her green eyes were bright and lively.

"Yes Lexa it's me." She smiled, taking my hand in hers.

"I miss you so much." I said with tears in my eyes, holding her hand tightly.

"I know." She whispered rubbing my cheek. "But Lexa, you have to move on."

"What?" I asked.

"Lexa move on, I'm gone now. You need to stop holding on to the past and move on." She said.

"I wouldn't do that. I love you, there is no one else."

"Lexa... There's Clarke." She smiled.

"Clarke?" I asked. "Clarke is just I person I met."

"But she's understanding you, she's breaking you out of your hard shell, let her." She said.

"Costia I won't do that to you." I said.

"Please Lexa!" She yelled.

I jolted up in my bed and looked around. I wiped my face and realized I was crying. I tried to control my breathing and got out of my bed.

I walked out of my room wearing just jeans and a maroon tank top. I walked passed the room where Clarke, Bellamy, and Octavia were staying.

After getting back from there camp they decided to come stay with us so we could learn more about the mountain men. Teddy stayed with Clarke's group to help them build more walls.

I walked down some steps and went into the schools weight room. I grabbed a fighting stick and started to hit a practice dummy.

Thoughts ran through my mind every time I hit the dummy. The walkers, my friends, losing my family, Spencer, Costia. I heard a noise behind me and turned around swinging the stick.

I stopped it. Right next to Clarke's face. I looked at her and she looked at me with her beautiful but intense blue eyes. She reached up and grabbed the stick pulling it down.

"Lexa... Are you okay?" She asked, looking at me intensely.

"Yeah..." I said, nodding. I took the stick and put it back where it was.

I was heading out when I felt Clarke grab my arm. I turned around and looked at her. She lifted up her hand and wiped my cheek.

"You're crying." She whispered.

I hadn't even realized that I was crying till she did that.

"I'm fine." I said pulling away from her. I wiped my eyes and looked back at her. "Why are you up?" I asked her.

"I'm a light sleeper and I heard you walk outside my door." She said to me.

"Well you should get back to sleep." I said and walked out of the room.

Was Costia right? Should I move on? Clarke is very beautiful and strong and smart but I have my people to lead.

I couldn't sleep after that. I just stand up laying in my bed, staring at the ceiling. Thoughts consumed my mind and they were all about Clarke. Maybe I should move on.
