I thought about what Clarke had said, I should let my brother go on a mission.

The next morning I saw everyone sitting in the cafeteria eating breakfast. I grabbed my plate of grits and headed over to them.

"Good morning Commander." I heard Bellamy say first when I sat at the table on the other side facing him.

"Bellamy." I nodded at him.

I sat down in between Clarke and Skylar and looked at them. Clarke smiled at me for a second but quickly turned to continue eating her breakfast.

"So Commander, I was thinking that I would take a person or two with me to look around the mountain." I heard Bellamy say.

"I agree with that." I said to him and Spencer, who was sitting next to him, just kept his head down. "I think you and Spencer will do a good job working together to find the Mountain Men's camp." I said to him.

Bellamy smiled and Spencer looked at me with shock. "Are you serious?" Spencer asked me and I simply nodded.

"So you both should finish your breakfast and start packing." I said to him.

He quickly finished his plate and stood up. "Come on Bellamy." He said.

"You go ahead, I'll be there in a second." He chuckled at Spencer reaction and watched him run out of the cafeteria. "Well he is definitely excited."

"Yes he is. But Bellamy, please keep him safe." I said to him.

"Don't worry Commander, I learned in basic training to never leave a man behind. I won't leave him behind." He said to me.

"Basic training for what?" I asked him.

"Marines. I was about to be flown out to North Korea for my first mission, but then this stuff happened." He shrugged.

"Well thanks for your almost service but thanks for doing this." I said to him and he just smiled and nodded.

Around 4 o clock, Bellamy and Spencer had finally had everything packed up. We had walked outside to the front of the school.

"You sure you have everything?" I asked Spencer.

"Yes Lexa I'm sure." He smiled and hugged me.

"Be careful, stay safe, and listen to Bellamy okay?" I said to him and I hugged him tightly.

"I will, I love you sis, and I'll be back in two days." He smiled pulling away.

"I love you too Spenc." I said looking at him.

"Mom and dad would be proud of you you know? For all that you've accomplished. So would Costia." He said and I smiled slightly and nodded.

"Thanks." I said and looked over at Bellamy as he finished hugging his sister Octavia and Clarke goodbye.

"You ready dude?" He asked Spencer and he nodded. "Let's go."

We watched as they walked away and disappeared off into the distance. Clarke stood next to me as we watched them.

"You did the right thing Lexa." I heard Clarke say.

"Do you trust him?" I asked her.

"Bellamy?" She asked and I just nodded. "Yes I do, he wouldn't give up on anything or anyone without a fight." She said.

"Good." I said to her and slightly smiled at her, looking at her. She smiled back at me, showing me her perfect teeth.

Three days have past since Bellamy and Spencer have left and I began to get a little worried. I've tried distracting myself by working more around the school but nothing was working.
