Lexa's POV
I stood in a tent looking down at a map that Octavia had drew of the mountain. She thought it would be best if she could at least somewhat describe the inside.
"Hey." I heard a soft voice say, but I knew it was Clarke without having to look. "It's getting late, you should relax, get some rest."
"I'm fine Clarke, there's still a lot that has to be done." I say to her.
"Not really, we have to wait for Raven to make the radio for Bellamy. So right now, we can't do much." She stated as she stood right next to me.
"We have to come up with a plan on how to destroy them Clarke, we don't have that planned out yet."
"Lexa I understand that, but we don't even know what we are up against, we have to wait." Clarke says as she takes the map and flips it over.
I sigh and walk away, taking my armor off and putting my weapons down. I wanted all the Mountain Men to be dead, they killed my brother, they deserve to die.
"What are you thinking about?" I hear Clarke ask.
"Nothing," I say shaking my head and sitting down on the bed. "Will you stay with me tonight?"
"Of course." She smiled at me which just made me melt.
I laid down in the bed and Clarke laid close next to me. I felt my heart beat faster as she laid close to me, putting her head on my chest.
"Everything's going to be okay." She whispered to me before closing her eyes.
"I know." I whispered and fall asleep.
I woke up the next morning and Clarke was already gone. I got up, re braided my hair, and put on my armor. I walked out of the tent to see people walking around doing jobs. I walked around a bit, a few people staring as I pass but others focusing on work.
"Commander!" I heard a deep voice yell. I turned around to see Bellamy walking over to me. He was wearing dark blue jeans and a white tee shirt. His face was still bruised but it was healing.
"Hey Bellamy, what do you need?" I say to him as he walks to me.
"Can we talk?"
I sighed and nodded at him. He led the way over to the edge of the fences. There weren't many people around us. Bellamy leaned his back against the fence and sighed. I knew what he wanted to talk about.
"I'm sorry.." He said quietly, looking down at the ground.
I took a deep breathe, trying to keep myself together. I was angry and upset but I couldn't blame Bellamy, it wasn't his fault.
"It's okay.." I sighed, letting out the breathe I was holding in. "It wasn't your fault."
"But I could've saved him, I could've done something."
"Bellamy, you couldn't have done anything. What happened, happened. The Mountain Men will get what they deserve. Especially with your help." I stated.
He nodded softly and smiled slightly. "He was a great kid, and funny too."
I smile a little back as I thought about Spencer. "Yeah he was."
"Forgive me?" He asked as he held his hand out.
I nodded and shook his hand. "I forgive you."
"Now let's go see what Raven had come up with." He smiles and leads the way to Raven's tent.
When we walked inside the whole tent had tons of tools and electronics around inside. Clarke and Octavia were standing behind Raven who was sitting at a desk.
"So Raven, what do you have for me?" Bellamy asked her as we walked over.
"Well it took me all night but I have an ear piece for you." She said holding up a small skin tone like mic. Her eyes had bags under them from staying up.
Bellamy took it and placed it in his ear. Raven got up and smile when it wasn't really that noticeable.
"You will be able to hear us through that at all times." She stated.
"That's great but how will I be able to talk with you guys." He asked.
"That's the thing. I couldn't make a radio small enough to hide so you are going to carry it in a bag with you. Once you escape being prisoner, you are going to have to find your bag and get a hold of us." She said sadly.
"So this is all just based on luck?" He asked.
"Yes, but this is the only way." I heard Clarke speak up.
"I wish I had a better system but I don't, but we all believe you can do it and you'll at least be able to hear us." Raven said.
"It's okay, I'll make it work."
"If we don't hear from you after a few days, we will fight through the tunnels." Octavia spoke.
"Are you ready for this Bellamy?" I asked him.
"Yes, let's do this."
We went over everything about the radios with Bellamy. We got his bag packed and we stood by the entrance of the gates.
"I'll contact you all soon." He said to us and Octavia ran over and gave him and huge hug.
"Be safe big brother." She whispered to him and he nodded with a smile.
As he walked out the gates I glanced over at Clarke. "I trust him, do you?" She asked me.
"Yes."
