Izaya really should've seen it coming. After all, with his life seemingly straight out of a manga book the past weeks- not to mention his whole life- it would only make sense to say that his future was bull feces(Sorry, not allowed to curse) and 'the plot thickens.'
Of course, no one could blame him. After all, who would've guessed this sudden plot twist. Okay, maybe that was an exaggeration, but cut him some slack. He was stressed.
And who wouldn't be? After being promised to by Shizuo to not tell anyone, he left Shinra's apartment with plans- wonderful, wonderful plans- that consisted of a nice warm bath followed by a whole night spent ruining his precious human's lives. As fate would have it, that was not what happened.
He ran into Kadota's gang. And the truth serum was still in effect. Erika, ever the observant one, noticed almost immediately and used it to her advantage, handcuffing him and throwing him into Togusa's van. How she did, no one would ever know. Izaya was in a state of disbelief while Kadota just stood there and watched him get kidnapped. And he looked like he was enjoying it, too!
So that was how he found himself, locked up and surrounded by curious eyes. Erika was the first one to speak. "Izayan, is it true that you and Shizushizu are secretly in love and, in order to protect each other, pretend to hate each other whole time, internally crying on the inside whenever you see each other and wonder what could've been?"
There was silence, and Izaya briefly wondered how Erika even came up with this nonsense. Before he could voice these thoughts, however, the serum worked its charm.
"There is no secret relationship, but I don't hate Shizu-chan. I cry on the inside whenever he actually manages to hit me- because it hurts my pride- and the only 'what if' I think about is 'what if he gets me while I'm eating my precious fatty tuna'."
Wow, that was embarrassing. Did he just say he didn't hate Shizuo? And did he just admit to actually crying, even if it was only in his head? He glared darkly when his 4 kidnappers began laughing at him after they got over their incredulity, and he entertained the thought of locking them in the van and driving it off a cliff... into a lake infested with man-eating piranhas and with a time-bomb set to explode in 10 seconds. You know, a little mercy so they won't have to suffer the fate of being eaten to death. It would all work out. But first, the cuffs...
"No need for such brutality," Yumisaki said, a grin on his face telling Izaya that he'd just spoken his thoughts out loud. "And leave my van out of this," Togusa huffed, a worried look on his face. Kadota just gave an amused snort and said, "On to more important matters. Why are you wearing these clothes? And don't tell me you're changing your wardrobe because I know how attached you are to that fur coat of yours."
It was out before he had a chance to stop it. Everyone's eyes widened comically. Well, except for Erika. He face took on a dark look and Izaya began wondering how much danger he was suddenly in.
Hearts surrounded Erika as she pulled the hood off of his head to reveal 2 silky cat ears. Everyone had to refrain from glomping him as Izaya pouted, increasing his cuteness ten folds. "I-Izaya," Kadota stuttered out, deciding it was probably best if Izaya was let free before anything possibly traumatizing- courtesy of Erika- happened to him. Izaya was grateful and wasted no time in running away when he was free from his binds.
Erika pouted as she watched Izaya escape with his tail between his legs. "Mou~, I wanted to pet him more..." She suddenly brightened up when something hit her. "Kyah, my yaoi friends will freak when they hear about this! I can't wait to post this up!" Poor, poor Izaya...__________________________________________________________________________________
