"Feldy's right," Calum was right smack in the middle of the group, smirking at me, tattooed arms crossed against his broad chest. "Good to see you again, Brooklyn."
Someone call an ambulance, I think I just fainted.

I raised a brow at the boys, trying to look put together. But inside, I was having some sort of meltdown.
"You look familiar," Ashton stepped up to me, holding out a hand for me to shake. "Have we met before?"
I took his offered hand and smiled. I was about to formally introduce myself, but one of the boys cut in before I could open my mouth.
"Wait a minute!" My eyes snapped to Michael, watching realization slowly dawn on his face. "You're that chick from Lisbon! The one Calum wouldn't shut up about for days! I remember you now. I wanted to bring you on stage but you went all wide-eyed and panick-y, I though you might faint if I called on you!"
He came closer, wrapped his arms around me and lifted me up in a hug. My toes barely touched the ground, despite the six inch heels on my feet. Who wore heels to a concert? Well, me apparently. But I had enough sense to bring a change of shoes.
"So wait," Michael began when I was finally on solid ground. "I didn't catch your name?"
"I'm-" Again, cut off. This time, by Feldy.
"Boys, I want you to meet Brooklyn," He pulled me away from Michael and tucked me beside him. He was clearly declaring me off limits, the old coot. "Daughter of my good friends, Amanda and Brandon Taylor. Both are surgeons. Brooklyn herself is one of London's most promising young doctors. Aren't you, princess?"
"I'm not a doctor yet," I was almost embarrassed at saying it out loud because of the extreme pride that shone on Feldy's face when he looked down at me. "I've finished PreMed, but I'm just looking at options right now."
"Knowing you, you'll figure it out," He squeezed me gently before turning back to the boys. "Of course you know the boys, B."
Michael was about to hug me again, but Ashton pulled him back by the t-shirt collar, so he held out a hand instead. Luke just nodded at me from where he stood, and I returned the gesture. Calum wasn't so easily deterred by Feldy or Ashton. He came forward, pulled me from Feldy's hold and wrapped his arms around me. In that moment, I felt... safe? home? The feeling was so unfamiliar to me that I just stood there, frozen. Feldy cleared his throat, making Calum release his hold on me.
"Right. I bet Matt over there's lost as a lamb in a snowstorm. Come here, boy!"
Matt came forward, attempting to be subtle at sizing up each one of the Aussie lads. Calum, especially. Not like the boys were much better at hiding it either. It was a pissing contest just waiting to happen.
"This young lad over here is Matthew Harrison," he gestured to Matt. "He and Brooklyn used to date back in high school. Always thought these two would get married at some point."
There was a bit of an awkward silence at his words. Calum caught my eye. I couldn't decipher the emotion on his face, but he clearly wasn't amused.
"Matthew," Feldy went on, gesturing to each of the boys in turn. Matt, ever the proper gentleman, held his hand out to shake. "This is Luke Hemmings, blond god and band lead vocalist. Ashton Irwin, drummer and overall the nicest person in this damn band."
