"Let's go! Matt's waiting for us downstairs!"

It was only morning, and I already couldn't wait for tonight's party to end.

Eight || (For Once In My Life I Want To Be More Than Your) Teenage Queen

(Calum)

"I think this is it," Ashton poked his head through the car window. "Let's get in before we get spotted."

The three of us followed him out of the car into the chilly London night. We drove out of Wembley and into Kensington in search of a bar where we hoped we wouldn't get mobbed. A guy from the crew told us about one that opened up around here sometime last year. He hasn't been to the place himself but he said he'd heard great reviews. He gave us some general directions, but for most of the excursion we were on our own. We'd know it when we see it, he said.

A couple or so bars were open here and there but none looked like the place we were looking for. All of those had long ass lines at the front door, not exactly the privacy we wanted.

Royals

The golden plaque above the door said. I think the words are usually illuminated but tonight they remained dark. If Ash hadn't been paying close attention to the street, we might never have found it. A lone bouncer with a clipboard in his beefy arms and a stern look on his face being the only indication that something was going on behind the door.

There was no line outside and the music inside was muffled. The bar's soundproofing seemed top notch. A little bit out of the way but it's still kinda weird there weren't as much people here as the other places. I'm suddenly apprehensive of what lay inside. I could sense the bouncer eyeing all four of us warily as we exited the car and approached.

"Names?" Beefy, the bouncer asked.

"Hi! We're 5 Seconds of Summer," Ash said with far too much enthusiasm. He was already pulling out his wallet. "How much is the cover charge?"

"Party tonight is invitation only," he said as he flipped the pages on his board. "No invite, no entry. And your name? Not on the list."

The door opened and two guys stumbled out. Beefy closed the door right behind them and stood in front of it. Ash and Luke caught each other's eye. I could see they've already agreed this was a lost cause. Time to step in.

"Hey champ," I grinned at Beefy. "What do you say we talk to the host? Maybe he or she could make an exception for us?"

"You don't even know whose party this is," he shook his head. "Not a chance, champ."

"Let's go, Cal," Ash grabbed my arm to pull me away. "We'll find some other bar."

"We're with Feldy," Mike suddenly piped up. "You're right. We have no idea who's party this is for. But Feldy knew we needed a private place to chill so he sent us here in his place. Check the list, his name's there. John Feldmann."
