Café-tastrophe

I opened my eyes to see a man on the floor, spilled coffee on the front of his shirt, and on the floor in front of him. I gasped, apologizing profusely.
"Oh my gosh- I'm so sorry! So soo sorry! I should have been watching where I was going..."

The man, who had a rather confused look plastered on his face, raised his hand as if to silence my apologies. His confused look was replaced with a smirk, and he pushed his sun glasses further up onto the bridge of his nose. He then stood, trying his best not to be upset about the sticky caffeinated drink spilled all over the front of him.

"Please. Do not worry my sweet. I am the one who is at fault here, not you."

His voice was smooth and deep, and it was nice. However the tone in his voice sounded as if it was forced, and like he may have been trying a little too hard.
But who was I to assume that? I had only just met him mere moments ago.

I brought my eyebrows together, pushing the bangs from my face,
"No really though... let's get you cleaned up, okay? Be right back."

Quickly I made my way to the bathroom, and emerged later with a handful of paper towels, a few of them wet, to try to get rid of the stickiness. I handed the wet ones to him first,
"Here... this should help."

He smiled at me before taking them, and he began wiping the coffee from his jacket and shirt. I almost wanted to start apologizing again, but I controlled myself, worrying that he might find it annoying if I continued to apologize. When he was done with the wet paper towels, I handed him the dry ones.

"I hope that stain will come out of your shirt... I really am sorry.."

He simply chuckled,
"Don't worry about it. All is okay."

I then smiled, and my eyes trailed again to the puddle of spilled coffee on the floor. I signaled for the man to stay there, and I made my way up to the counter. I informed the woman working the counter that there was a spill, and she nodded, saying she would get someone to clean it up. I thanked her and said one more apology to her, and I then ordered a few drinks.

She smiled, and went and got them for me. I payed, and then brought them back over to the man, and handed him one.
"Here," I said,
"It's the least I can do for spilling coffee all over you. Hopefully it's to your liking."
