Liam drove up to the house, a familiar face greeted him with a half smile and sadness in her eyes "hi Rhiannon" he smiled "hi Liam she smiled back, he walked to her and hugged her "I'm sorry..." He cried, she moved him back so she could she could see his face "it's not your fault..." She whispered "so why do you need a place to stay?" She asked "Jack kicked me out..." He replied wiping away his tears "of course he did..." She muttered then chuckled "let's get you inside" they headed inside.
"Kids this your cousin Liam, Liam this is Mica and David" Rhiannon smiled, the kids looked up at Liam and smiled, the front door opened and a man walked in " hello love" the man smiled and kissed Rhiannon's cheek, he looked over at Liam confused "who's the bloke?" He asked "Ianto's son" Rhiannon whispered "oh sorry, you must be Liam, I'm John" the man smiled "how do you know my name?" Liam asked "Ianto never kept you in the dark" Rhiannon smiled softly "he mentioned me?" Liam smiled softly "more then mention, once you left he wouldn't shut up about you" John joked "what did he say?" Liam asked "we will talk over tea while John takes the kids out to the park" Rhiannon hinted, John sighed and took the kids and left the house while Rhiannon started the tea, Liam sat on the couch as Rhiannon brought him some tea "where should I start..." She giggled "well to begin with he would talk about how you kept being polite, unlike Jack, and that you had become more like him... But he always questioned why" she smiled "why did you?" She asked "because... I had always felt like I was a constant reminder of my mother and all the trouble she caused... So I wanted to prove to him that I could be more... That I could be his son" Liam replied quietly "I just wish I was there to be the son he needed... And maybe he'd still be here" he frowned "we both know Ianto wouldn't listen" she comforted him "you must hate us, we've taken your brother and pulled him away" Liam sighed "i don't... You leaving made Ianto run to me, he's been more open than ever" she smiled, Rhiannon looked around "I'm guessing you've already had the funeral" Liam spoke up "no... His last will was to wait for you..." Rhiannon frowned "it's been planned for next weekend" She explained "thank you... I think I'm going to head to bed Ive just... Had a bad day" Liam sighed standin up and heading to the spare room, he closed the door and locked it. He sat down on the bed and pulled out his phone and called Ianto's phone again "hey... I know there's no point in calling... But I want to... Look Jack has kicked me out... I'm now staying with your sister well... Aunt Rhiannon, nice lady" Liam sniffed smiling weakly "umm... I'm having some problems right now... I'm hearing voices when I sleep... They're making me question what's real and what's not..." Liam muttered "I don't know what to do... Well love you..." Liam hung up and laid in bed then slowly dozed off
Hey Liam...today has been a better day, the doctors say your brain activity which can mean you are closer to being back, positive thoughts!
Liam laid in bed thinking about what was real "Liam are you awake?" Rhiannon asked through the locked door, Liam looked at the time display on his vortex manipulator "7:54 am" he thought to himself "yeah I'll be out in a minute" he smiled getting up and gettin dressed "alright well I'm going to work can you watch Mica and David for a bit please" she smiled through the door "don't they have school?" Liam asked "it's Saturday" she giggled "oh ha okay yeah I'll be happy to watch them!" Liam smiled as he opened the door wearing one of the suits he was given, Rhiannon's smiled faded softly then she turned to head out for work "kids listen to Liam, Love you" she kissed the kids goodbye then left, the kids say on the couch watching cartoons with there cereal, David looks up at Liam "so you're uncle Ianto's son?" He asked "mhmm" Liam nodded as he leaned against the couch "but mom says you're Uncle Jacks child" David added "yes I am because they're my parents" Liam smiled "but mommy doesn't like uncle Jack" David frowned "well Jack can't make everyone happy" Liam smiled "Liam will you take us to the park?" Mica asked "of course but grab your jackets" Liam smiled, the kids beamed and grabbed their jackets and waited for him at the door.
They walked down the side walk head in towards the park, Liam looked down at the two little cousins that skipped along "Liam! How come you dot have a Welsh accent?" David looked up at Liam "are you like Jack?" "No I'm well... Sort of... I'm Canadian" Liam chuckled "wow really that's cool!" Mica giggled grabbing onto his arm "well were at the park" Liam smiled, Mica and David giggled and ran off to play on the swings. Liam walked over to the bench and sat down, he smiled as he watched the kids play happily "Liam... You seem to be getting better! Your brain activity is becoming more active" the voice rang in Liam's ear, it made Liam's head pound, he shut his eyes tightly as he fell foreword covering his ears, his stopped pounding an the voice stopped, Liam wiped away tears and looked up at the playground and froze, no one was there no children no parents no Mica and no David "oh god where'd they go..." Liam muttered, he panicked and bolted up and ran around the park looking for them "Mica! David!" He shouted he looked at his vortex manipulator checking for life signs "there aren't any for miles!" He muttered "it's like they just disappeared well they did" Liam sighed, he pulled out his phone and tried to call Rhiannon, but heard nothing, he ran back to the place and saw Johnny "Johnny!" Liam called out "hey Liam" Johnny smiled "where's Rhiannon?" Liam panted "who?" Johnny questioned "your wife my aunt Ianto's sister!" Liam panicked "I'm not married Liam I think You are hallucinating things" Johnny chuckled, Liam shook his head than ran off towards the hub, the streets which were normally busy were silent.
Jack sat in his office, he opened one of the drawers and pulled out Ianto's cell, he was puzzled when e saw two unread voicemails, he opened them and listened.
Jack finishe listening to them and closed the phone and right on cue Liam burst through the doors "Jack! I know you don't want me hear but I'm going crazy!" Liam panicked "I know you're hearing voices questioning reality" Jack sighed looking up at him "how'd you know..." Liam muttered "Ianto's phone is kept in my desk" Jack sighed "well I don't know what to do! Is this reality I don't know!" Liam paced around the room, Jack stood up and walked to him "let's take a look" he smirked as he snapped his fingers and everything around the went black and Liam passed out.
Liam they're giving very little time to come back... Jack says it's becoming unhealthy for me to sit with you he says I haven't slept much in the past few months... And that I look horrible...
Liam looked around and saw nothing but black for miles in all directions, "nothing I'm stuck in this black pit where ever I am" he thought to himself, he looked behind him and saw a speck in the distance, he felt that there was hope as he ran towards it.
