Merida's P.O.V

It was a normal Summer day,one of those days I felt more alive than ever though I´m dead... yes I´m dead. I´m some sort of a dead roaming spirit ... when I said roaming I wasn't lying... actually I´m roaming in the woods and well I've been doing this for.... let's see like 300 years or so? Add or take some but the funny thing is that I still look like a 16 year old girl. Another curious thing is that I'm not even hungry or thirsty... well I can´t recall a single time I was... I haven´t sleep in a week and I don´t need it but I still do it because is the only way I can scape. Sometimes I still look for some water and food... not that I really need them but I just want to be sure you know?

I can't remember why I am here or anything about my past... I just know that I´m dead and my name's Merida... Just as simple as that... how do I know? The moon told me so... One thing that freaked me out the first time was that nobody could see me not even hear me... the thing I hate the most... of course I tried talking to people but it's worthless, not even the moon seems to care anymore.. yeah right, bring me back from death and leave me by my own it's no the niecest thing to do you know? I can´t complain about it... see the bright side I´m immortal and I can use fire whenever I want and how I want, pretty awesome huh?

However this was not going to be a nonbeingnoticed day and I could feel that.

I was walking straight to a near village when I saw this boy he looked the same age as me... he was sitting near a river and he was drawing something at the floor with a stick that had fallen from a nearby tree. I was facing his back when I had this brilliant idea!! I climbed a tree and sat on the lowest branch I could find.

''Oh ah wouldn't like to be in ya shoes now ma'' I said while grabbing and arrow from the quiver at my back and preparing my bow to shoot it. ''Wait there's somethin' missin' I then lifted my free hand and opened it to create a shimmering flame and put it in front of the arrow. I took a breath while aiming at my target, the boy's left side. SHOOT. It landed where I had anticipated but there was nothing... nothing... he didn't even hesitated!! a wind came from nowhere and turned off my flame.. geez!! I made the temperature even hotter. This lad just messed up with the wrong girl.

Actually I'm not a prankster but I hadn't seen anybody since 3 days in a row and isn't it the proper thing to say hello? I chuckled at my thought.

I grabbed another arrow and repeated what I have done earlier making sure the flame was bigger this time... same thing... shoot it... that wind turned it off. Holy Mord'u!! is this boy blind? who does he think he is? does this brunette lad think he can ignore me like that? oh no. I couldn't take anymore.

''Geez really? why aren't ya all freaked out lad? why haven't ya ran like a mad like the others?'' I asked not really waiting for an answer, but there was one and one that almost made me fall from my branch.... ey yeah there was one!! after all this time finally!! wait no that was not supposed to happen!

''Well I don't under...'' the boy started saying but he suddenly cut off like if he didn't belive what he just said... he unesily stand up and slowly turn to face me... I  met his deep green eyes and came off the branch

''Wait can you see me? Can you hear me?'' he asked pointing himself with his left hand

''Well yeah.. sure lad but the question her' must be how did ya ignored ma flames'' I asked while putting a hand on my waist.

''Are those yours?'' he said and he throw a fast glance and the arrows behind him that once where lit.

''Yeah sure lad, do ya see enyone else her''' I asked sarcastically.

''Well sorry for turning them off'' he apologized, oh so he brought that wing huh? how rude.

''Well that wasn't that nice'' I joked ''But what I don't understand is how come can ya see me?!'' I gestured to all of me.

''Well I actually can see everyone you know?'' he rubbed his neck and gave a nervous chuckle, really? ''but normally no one can see me'' wait what?

''hey... Ah know this ma sound a bit crazy but, ah don't meen to freak ya out but.... are ya.... dead?'' I tried, it actually felt really strange asking a thing like that.

It took a few seconds before he answered ''Yes, actually I am....'' he said almost whispering

''Ah think ah get it 'cause am dead too but wait ya are fo' real, aren´t ya? ah am  not goin' nuts, am ah?'' I asked while I sat on the floor, fear was obiously in my voice.

''No, not really I think you are sane for now just as me'' He said looking at me obiously tryingto make  a joke but it dind´t work out ''Am.. Hiccup by the way'' He offered his hand at me

''Merida'' I shook it not really knowing what was happening
