Stolen teeth and a team

Merida's P.O.V

They took my teeth! THEY TOOK THEM!!! And now who am I supposed to find out who I was?! The Guardians had tried in vain to rescue them.

"WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHIN'!!!" I shouted impatiently

"Of course we'll do something!" North said putting his big hand on my shoulder when he saw that I had put my hands upon my forehead

"So what ar we waitin' for?" I said "Let's go!" I commanded and turned away,ready to leave. I was at the middle of the hall when North said:

"We can't" I stopped, did I really heard what I thought? "Not yet"

"But we will, soon enough lass don't worry" Bunny added

"THEY TOOK MA TEETH!" I shouted, I turned to face them and I could feel my face turning redder and hotter.

"Not the first time" Tooth said sadly

"Ah don't care if...what? What do ya mean by 'not the first time?" I asked her

She looked down and remained silence.

"Yeah, Merida it's not the first time that something like this happens"  North said and Sandy frowned. So it was not the first time the teeth were stolen, and did the manage to get them back?

"Yeah, lass we did" Bunny replied. I didn't know that I was thinking out loud."Don't worry Merida we'll get them back"

"But they ar the only source ah have to find out who ah was at  ma past and even more important my center"

"Calm dowm Merida!" Punzie said

"Yeah, it's no the end of the word" Jack said with a grin. I gave him a furious glare and he put his hands up just like how Pitch have done a few moments ago "Just saying!"

"Besides, Mer, It's not the only way you can find your center" Hiccup said

"Really?" I asked him

"There must be other ways"

"Yeah. Hiccup here is right, I found my center with a little bit of time" Jack said

"See?"

"Well of course I needed my teeth at some point of the..." Jack kept talking until Hiccup frowned at him "What?!"

"Seriously?"

I rolled my eyes at first but then Rapunzel and I started to laught and for a moment I forgot the seriousness of the problem.

"Okay,okay" Hiccup said snorting a little bit first "You gotta keep calm so then you can go searching for them"

"I think you mean 'we' Hiccup" North said and Hiccup looked at him "Man in the Moon chose the three of you so you could be a team with Jack, remember?"

"But..."

"Manny said so Hiccup" North cut off and Hiccup sighed

"How about if he is wrong about us?" Punzie said rubbing her arm and coming closer to Hiccup and me

All the Guardians looked at us with a confused look, well all the Guardians except for Jack he instead sighed and said:

"Hate to say this but I warned you"

"You can't say that" North said omitting Jack's last comment "He's never wrong" he continued coming closer to us

"But if he is wrong for the first time?" Hiccup continued

"He chose you because he saw something in you. Something that made you special. He believes in you. Would you just give up?"

The three of us looked at each other for a moment

"But what does he want us to do?" I asked

"Defeat Pitch" he said firmly "And, be believed in"

"Being believed in? For the first time." Rapunzel mumbled "Does that mean that anybody could see us?"

"Anybody who believes" Bunny said

"But ah thought people believed in you" I told Punzie

"It's only a fairytale and that's how everybody sees it..." she sighed "Nothing more"

I then realized that what the four of us (Jack. Punzie, Hiccup and I) was that we all knew loneliness and we were sick about it. If it was true that the Moon had seen something special in us, that meant we had chance to have compañy and forget about loneliness.

I saw Punzie's emerald eyes, they were filled with tears that she was trying to contain and Hiccup's face had a defeated look. That's when I realized it had to change and I had to stop thinking only about me and my problems. That around me were people who needed companion, a friend, an opportunity and even more important... to be believed in.

"And what is Pitch planing?" I asked the Guardians

"We don't know that yet" Tooth said

"But it can't be that different from last time, and if I right the children are in danger" Bunny said more likely refering to North

"The children?" Hiccup asked

"The Children" said North emphasizing the last word "they are all what we are, our reason for being Guardians, the only thing we care about and protect, without them believing we... we are nothing"

Everyone remained silence.

"Then I'm in" Punzie said "I'm in whatever to keep the children safe"

 she finished and I looked at her, she faced me and gave me a warm smile then offered her me her hand as a sign of 'are you in?'. I thought for a moment. What could I lose? Nothing but I could win more than anything. I took it.

"Count with me too" I said and returned Punzie the smile. I looked at North and he had a proud look on his face.

Then everybody looked at Hiccup who was silently watching the scene. He moved his head as he thought about it.

"Oh c'mon Hic, are ya coward?" I asked him, more like teasing.

"Fine. After all what's better than taking risks? You don't win if you don't try huh?" he said and gave a nervous chuckle

"Now it's your decision Jack" Punzie said and looked at Jack who seemed a little bit shocked but he managed to change his expression into a smile.

"We are really doing these aren't we?"

"Yes"

"Then i'm in. Let's have a little fun"

"That's it!" North shouted "The new Big Four! I can feel it! In my belly!" he said and we all started to laugh
