“Now how would we make her come?” Pitch asked as he circled the raven hair-like lady, who was sitting on an elegant armchair.

“I´m thinking, Pitch” she replied in a more frustrated than anything tone, scratching her nose trunk with her index and her thumb.

“Have you thought about using your ability?” He asked as asking the obvious

She let out an irritated sighed “Yes. I had, obviously” she replied, as answering the obvious. Pitch face frowned.

“Well, then I don´t see the point in all this thinking of yours” he said as he retake his walk.

“That´s what I get for asking so much” Gothel complained in a dramatically way as she got up the chair, in a way only Broadway actors could. She approached Pitch and lean her hand upon his shoulder.

“The goal of this is making Rapunzel think I´m still on her side, while the world isn´t. Nor those other three such called friends of her” Gothel said in a cheesy way.

Pitch laughed and turned to face her. “I´m terribly sorry to tell you that she stopped believing that a long time ago”

Gothel frowned. “That” she started in a much more severer tone “is what we´ve got to think about…”

“No, no” he interrupted “You´ve got to do that. I don´t mind bringing her with those thought in her head”

She crossed her arms. “Okay. Show me how well you and play then. Let´s do this the hard way. I´ll make her come and you… you do whatever you need to do”

He nodded. “That works for me” he agreed

“Right, then. Where did they put the red head?”

“No, idea” he shrugged. He called one of his nightmares and ordered it something not able for mother Gothel to hear.

The nightmare stared to walk through a darkened hall. Pitch gestured to mother Gothel in sign for following it.

When they reached the end, it headed to a single dark door that only disappeared when Pitch touched it.

They both entered and Pitch demanded the nightmare to disappear. The shadows that once had dispersed at both sides of the entrance had gathered again and formed the door. There was a single bed inside the room and a wooden chair with someone tied to it, but no more.

“Is she… asleep?” Mother Gothel asked as she walked to the chair and knelt down. Merida kicked and struggled against something, but her eyes were closed.

Pitch agreed in silence as he joined her side.

“She´s having the worst nightmares I could figure out she would fear. And best of all, she can´t wake up” he smiled

Gothel returned the smile in complicity.

“Good, but I think it´s time to wake her up” she added as she closed her eyes.

Meridaa. A voice sang in Merida´s head. Oh, Merida. Time to wake up, sleeping beauty.

Merida´s eyes wide opened and shouted, but the piece of fabric on her mouth retained the sound from going out.

“Hello, red. Did you sleep well?” she asked in a motherly tone.

Merida furrowed her eyes.

“I´ll that as a yes” Gothel said “I have something for you”

She stood up and took out of nowhere a tiny golden box with a red-haired girl painted on it´s side.

Merida said something beneath the fabric.
