jealous over nothing

Its Thursday lunchtime and I havent really talked to Connor since the party.

Im sitting in the cafeteria with Sarah, eating my apple.

Sarahs been going out a lot with Ben, and Im really happy for her. She just doesnt shut up about it.

So Im sitting here, not really paying any attenion to Sarahs conversation. Until Ben walks over to out table.

"Hey Sarah." He said giving her a peck on the cheek.

She blushed and I couldnt help but awww. Their so cute.

"Hey Mace, mind if I steal her away for a while?" Ben asked me. I never knew I had a say in this.

"Be my guest. I got tired of her anyway." I joked.

As they walked away I decided I need to get ready for my next class.

As I was walking, I noticed the table full of soccer boys. And at the head of the table was Connor.

I really wanted to say hi, but didnt. We made eye contact for a good 20 seconds until one of his friends caught his attenion.

I was just about to walk out of the cafe when someone yelled my name.

I looked back to see Reid coming up to me.

"Hey." I said smiling.

"Hey ahh, I was wondering if I could walk you to class. You know since we're in the same class." He stuttered.

I nodded my head. I could use the company.

I turned around to throw my apple core in the bin, when I made eye contact with Connor once more.

And he was not happy. I tried to figure out his emoition, when Reid ushered me to come.

We were walking diwn the halls, Connor still on my mind.

Why did he look at me like that?

We had reached Reids locker when he stopped and sighed.

"Whats up?" I asked.

"I dont have that many people to tell big secrets to. And I know Ive only kind of met you, but, can I tell you something?" He asked playing with his fingers.

"Yeah you can tell me anything." I said. And I meant it.

Trust was a hard thing to find these days so I was willing to keep his secret.

"I think- no, I know. Im gay." He said coming out.

Once those words had left his mouth I gave him the biggest hug I could give anyone.

"There is nothing wrong with that Reid. And Im greatfull that you trust me and I think you coming out to me is an amazing thing." I said smiling.

He smiled back at me then we carried on hugging.

But in the middle of the hug Connor came running around the corner. He saw us hugging and I could tell he got the wrong idea.

Then it hit me; he was jealous.

He glared at me and Reid then walked back around the corner.

The bell soon rung and it was time to go to art.

This was my favourite subject, but not today.

Im with Reid, which is good. But Im with Connor as well, which is bad.

I walked to my desk and sat there, waiting for my partner to turn up, which just happens to be Connor.

He walked in and didnt say anything to me. If he didng wanna talk to me, I didnt wanna talk to him.

We sat there is silence, just drawing, when my phone went off.

I checked to see who it is and its Connor. I glare over at him then open the message.

"So you and Reid ha?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Oh dont talk to me like that, I know you too are going out."

"No we are not actually. And why do you care?"

"Ahh because I was planning to take you out again. And yes you do, I saw you hugging."

"Me and Sarah hug all the time but we dont go out."

"Yeah but thats different. And I know you two go out."

"Yeah and you also know how to draw." I said then had a look at his piece of paper that had a few stick figures on it.

"Shut up."

"Ok" then I put my phone back in my pocket.

I started drawing again when a piece of paper was slipped next to me.

I read what it said and fell in love with it.

I miss you.

I glanced at him fot a while and gave him a small smile.

He smiled back at me, but not the cheesy smirk he normaly does whenever he tries to say a pick-up line. It was a meaningful smile. A smile that didnt say something cheesy or stupid.

It was a smile that conformed it for me. Ig conformed my feelings towards him. That I had fallin for him.

The class soon finished and I caught up with Sarah and Ben, with Connor on my tail.

"Hey guys, what are we talking about?" I asked hugging Sarah.

"Oh just how jealous Connor got over you and Reid." Ben laughed.

Connor punched him in the arm and blushed.

We all walked and talked about random stuff.

"So what did Reid tell you?" Connor asked.

I smiled at him then put my arm around his shoulders.

"Secrets my friend." I said.

"Ooo Connor got friend-zoned." Ben started saying, causing me and Sarah to laugh.

I was just about to pull my arm away from Connor, but he instead placed my hand into his.

It felt warm and soft holding his hand, and this feeling caused me to blush.

I think Ive fallin hard for this boy.
