treasure hunt date

Its 2:30pm on a Friday afternoon.

Connor hasnt said anything to me about the amazing date of his, and I havent seen him all day.

Im sitting in English, waiting for the bell to ring.

"Ring ring ring." The bell went at 3:00.

My excitement made me rush out the door, not giving a care in the world for anyone else.

I quickly rush to my locker, trying not to talk to anyone on the way.

But that fails as the art teacher, Mrs Berry, stops me.

"Macey, Im very impressed with your art skills." She compliments.

"Thank you Miss." I said huffing a little of how fast I was rushing.

"Look I was wondering if you could prepare so art to go on display in the National High School Art Compition."

"Ahh I would love too." I say, stunned that she even thought of my work.

"Great. Well its being held in the London Art Museum this coming up Tuesday. Youll need to get me your art to me by Monday." She said.

I noted this all in my brain and listened to further instructions.

"Ok so Ill see you on Monday, and the art compition is being held at 4:00 to 5:00." She said.

"Ok thank you." I smiled and walked to my locker.

Ive always wanted to display my art to the public eye, and now Im getting that chance I cant wait.

I open my lock to put my books away when a note falls.

I open it up and blush as I read it.

This is the grand date Ive been talking about all week.

I need you to get all glamered up though so please follow these instructions.

1: Walk outside. There should be a dark blue jeep waiting there.

2: Hope in and let the driver drive you to the next place. (Dont worry, you know the guy.)

3: He will hand you a note. Read it and follow those instuctions.

I hopped and saw the driver. Ben.

"Hey." He said as I buckled my seatbelt.

"Hey. So where yoh taking me?" I asked as we started driving.

"Cant tell." He said.

We soon turned up at the mall.

"Well here you go and have fun." He said handing me another note.

I jumped out of the car and read the note.

Go in and find the store called SUMMER LOVE.

Go up to the counter and say your name.

She'll tell you what to do from there.
