meet my family

I still havent told Connor about the art display.

I dont know why I mean its not a big deal, but I keep putting it off.

Im walking out of school as the day is done.

I havent been working lately due to the shop being closed.

I dont know why it is, I think because Reids family is on a holiday, I dont know.

I stand at the bas bay, looking down at my phone when a car pulls up in front of me and toots its horn.

I look up and its Connor. He opened the window and had a worried face look on his face.

"I need your help." He said.

I quickly hopped into the passengers seat and we drove off.

"Whats up?" I asked.

"My cousins are coming over to live with us for a while and I have to look after them today." He said.

"How old are they?" I asked.

"Ones five and the other is one." He said.

"Well Ill help." I said smiling.

We drove to his house and a car was in the driveway.

"Hello?" Connor said as we walked through the door.

"Oh thank god youre here I have to leave." Maggie said walking down the stairs.

"Oh hello Macey." She said putting on her shoes.

"Hi."

"Well I just put baby down in the crib and vanessa is in the girls room." She informed us.
"Ok." Connor said a nervous look on his face.

Maggie noticed this look and started worring herself.

"We got this." I whispered to her as she walked out the door.

She gave a relieved smile and closed the door.

Connor didnt do anything but just stand there.

"Come on. Introduce me." I said holding his hand and leading him up the stairs.

We walked up and into whats called the girls room.

It had pink on every wall. A double bef in the middle of the room and toys scattered around the floor.

"Connor!" A small voice yelled as she ran i to his arms.

Connor picked her up and twirled her around the room, making her little high pitched laugh echo around the house.

"Whos that?" She asked pointing at me.

She had bleech blonde hair and was wearing a pink top with some black shorts.

"Vanessa this is Macey." Connor said introducing me.

"Hi." I smiled.

She smiled at me then went to go whisper something in Connors ear.

The only thing was that I could still hear her.

"Is that your girlfriend?" She asked.

"Yup." Connor answered.

"Shes pretty." Vanessa said.

"I know." He whispered back and smiled at me.

I tried to hide my blush but it didnt work so well.

We soon walked down stairs to grab something to eat.

"What were you worried about? Youre great with children." I said to Connor as we made lunch.
