Adrianna
Running through the woods, I felt my legs getting weaker and weaker. I didn't know how long I could keep running for. But I knew that I had to keep going for as long as I could. I wouldn't let them get me.
My breathing was heavy and wheezy. The difficulty of breathing and the pain in my chest made my running slower as my vision began to haze.
Trees turned into large vibrating wooden poles, and leaves turned into a green blur.
I stopped, bending down with my hands on my knees, panting for any air my lungs could find. I felt so dizzy. So sick. So weak.
It was beyond me how I hadn't already passed out. I looked up to see my vision had cleared a little.
No time to waste, I thought to myself.
I had to keep running. I had to. I wouldn't let them get me. I would stab myself before I let them get me.
I turned around to make sure I wasn't being gained on, and to my delight there was no one. I sighed, but fright still ran through my body.
As I turned back to start running again, I hit something hard. My eyes widened as I saw a tall male figure in front of me. Hands quickly clasped onto my arms, stopping me from escaping. The grip on my arms was so tight, causing a throbbing pain down to my fingers.
I froze. Fear and terror coursed through my shaking body and my knees became weak.
There was a shadow cast on his face, I couldn't see who it was. But I didn't need to know who he was to know what he was.
My breathing was heavy and I could feel and hear my heart hammering against my chest. I was petrified.
"Get away from me, you monster!" I screamed. I was violently shaken as a way to stop my screams.
I was full of anger and fright. I heard a low chuckle before a bright light was cast on him, making me see his features.
I didn't know his face. It was one I didn't recognise, but the eyes were so familiar. A gorgeous light blue. I stared at them for a while. They looked innocent, but I knew the man with them was far from it.
Suddenly, the whites of his eyes began to turn red and veins protruded under his eyes as a smile played on his lips. I tried to let out a scream, but nothing came out.
I was being held in the tight grip of a murderer, a monster, a vampire.
I wriggled and squirmed, sweat pouring from me in panic and terror.
My screams were silent as tears poured down my face.
His cold hands gripped my arms tighter as his teeth were revealed, only inches from my face.
This was my worst nightmare. I hated it.
I hated it I hated it I hated it.
Sharp teeth sunk into my neck as a silent cry once again came from my mouth. I felt my body slowly being drained of blood.
