     "Why would you let her do that?! Yeah, she was an annoying brat, but she could be anywhere and in danger!" I yell at Jennings from through the phone. "What did you expect me to do? Tell her to stay because I was in love with her?!" He yells back. "No. I expected you to tell her to stay because she is your best friend!" I say calmly. "I know she's my best friend, but when your best friend confesses their love for you it's weird. Especially if you're gay!" He says with a sigh. "I understand that but you could've let her down easier than you did." I say sighing also. "You know Makayla. She's stubborn. You have to force things into her head." He says.
      "I just kinda feel bad for her because she is in love with you and you broke her heart." I say. "I didn't know what to do, okay?! I love her but only because she is my best friend. I don't have feelings for her. I'm gay. She knows how I feel about you. She's helped me deal with all of my problems and she's helped me understand my feelings more. She knows it was wrong of her to confess her love for me if she knows that I'm in love with you." He says exasperatedly.
     "You're in love with me?" I ask. "Yeah, I am if you haven't noticed already. I am madly in love with you, Chandler Michael. I've loved you everyday for the past 3 years. I know that when I started dating Marah, you transferred to our school and kinda stole her away from me. I remember I hated your guts that day. She was my first girlfriend, so of course I was heartbroken. Then, Makayla moved into town and she brung out my "girly side". She helped me identify who I was and how I felt for you. She made me realize how much I'm in love with you. I thank her for that everyday. Without her, I would probably still be depressed and upset with you. Without her, I probably would've been dead by now because she also helped me to stop self harming. I'm extremely thankful to have had her in my life but it was her wish to leave. I did what any good friend would do. If she wanted to leave so badly, then fine. She's gone now. If she comes back, then that's that. Yes, I want her to come back, but I can't stop her from doing something when she's already made up her mind." He finishes with a sigh.
