*Richard*

*fast forward to present day*

"Night wing" My com rang in my ear. "Cat woman just slipped herself in and out of the North Central museum, get her, now!"

Per usual I follow orders, free running over and up buildings, using my grappling hook every now and again to go farther distances.

I reach a block away from the museum only to see her running with a good sized bag in her hands.

I jump and silently land behind her with nothing but a faint thud in the hazy night. She stops short and slowly turns to me with an amused smirk that quickly fades.

"Awe, I was hoping for batman." She pouts and takes a slow step to me, her foot dragging behind her in a flirtatious manner.

I stiffen. We're not alone. By the tell on her face, she gets the feeling of being watched.

"Ooh. Maby he did show up." Cat woman purrs.

"N-" I start but get cut off by a voice echoing through the alleyway.

"Ooh, you're a pretty kitty I'll give you that, but you aren't all too bright I see." The teasing voice says. It's a woman, and she sounds like she's in for a game.

As I stand there thinking of what to do, how to handle this unexpected occasion, a slim diamond shaped throwing star cuts cat woman's bag causing all of the contents to spill out.

Cat woman gasps and annoyance shines on her face.

"Ooh, a nice bit of jewels you got there.. too bad they aren't yours." The voice taunts again then a flash bomb goes off causing all of my senses to be disoriented.

It takes a few minutes to gain everything back but when I can finally see and understand what's going on, everyone is gone, all that's left is a note pinned you the ground by the shiny dagger thrown at cat woman's loot.

Kitty cat took off, the jewels are going back where they belong. Oh, and you can consider this an anonymous tip, The Huntsmen are back and they are reaching for power. Keep safe Richard. Xx

There was no signature and it was typed so no fingerprints. How? How did she know my name? How did she know kitty was going to be here? How does she know about the light?

The Huntsmen.

I've heard that before.... They took Phoebe. SHE MIGHT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO PHOEBE!

I move as quickly as I can to get to a Zeda tube. The three second ride feels like four hours. My heart is beating in my ears and my stomach is in my throat.

As soon as I'm all there, I hop into a dead sprint to get to the control center where batman is.

As I continue to run through each corridor I gain the interest of others. First it's Miss.M then it's Connor then it's Wally who decided to drop by for a visit.

"Hey man what's going on?" Wally asked, running a bit behind me to stay out of my way.

Meghan mind linked me asking what was wrong but I didn't answer, and when she tried to pry I shut her out.

Connor tried to stop me then gave up after me not listening right away.

I just kept running until I reached the control centre.

"Batman." I call and he turns around from his conversation looking un amused.

"What is it?" His voice slightly more gruff than when he usually speaks, the discussion must have been important... oops?

I hold the note out to him and he narrows his eyes at me. He briskly walks over to me and takes the note from my hand.

His eyes widen slightly then his stone cold look returns.

"What is this?" He demands. The note get slightly crumpled in his grip but he notices and quickly hands it back to me.

"We need to talk." I answer back.

The room was full of tension all coming from the people behind me and the ones behind Batman.

He gives a brisk nod then we take off the the Zeda tubes.

On the way back to the Manor I tell him everything, every little detail down the the sound of her shoes on the emergency fire escape.

After staying up for the rest of the night, we ended up running close to thirty tests on the little slip of paper, each coming back with no result.

I groan in frustration and stare down at the note.

I know you know where she is, and what happened to her. I will find you and I will find Phoebe.
