*Richard*

We all smiled at Phoebe's suggestion of grabbing a swimsuit, because it meant we were going to do something fun. Not only that, but when Phoebe asked where the nearest Zeta-tube was, I knew exactly what was going to happen.

"Fiji? Why the hell are we going to Fiji" Wally inquired as Phoebe sent him a look of disapproval.

I smack him in the back of the head muttering to him about watching his language.

"Seriously?" Phoebe giggled "I cuss like a sailor, he's nothing."

My eyes narrowed in confusion. When did my sweet Phoebe become someone I didn't know? She looks similar to how she did but I knew nothing about her, not since she left. Eh, maybe I'm just being dramatic.

"Hey, don't give me that look Richard. I haven't done anything wro- okay that's a lie. BUT cussing doesn't really mean anything, they're just words deemed bad by society." Her voice playful and angelic as usual. I could see Wally to the left of us smiling at Pheebs stubbornness.

"Alright you two, I'm gonna stop this here and say let's get going. The Wall-man wants to have some fun." Leave it to Wally to keep even the possibility of an argument under control.

"He's right." Phoebe mused. "Let's have an adventure."

The smile on her lips made all my previous thoughts melt away, and excitement take its place in my mind.

"Alright alright," I chucked "Race you there."

Wally burst into laughter. "Did you seriously just say that? To me? Come on man, you're usually the one to think things through."

I winked to him then took off running to the Zeta-tube, Phoebe hot on my heels.

I glance behind me after hearing a sharp thud. There lay Wally on the floor repeatedly hitting his forehead on the floor in annoyance.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" I laugh at his outburst, Phoebe just smirks and continues to the transporter.

"Come on KF, you should know how we get." And with that I rush off to Phoebe as we wait for Wally.

Within minutes the three of us are gathered at the hanger, loading onto a jet.

I remove my mask and take my place in the pilots seat. Hearing a heavy sigh behind me, I look to see Phoebe anxiously bouncing her legs up and down.

"Hey, what's the matter?" Wally's face is contorted in confusion, as is mine.

Phoebe snaps out of a haze like state and stops moving her legs.

"What? Oh. I'm just excited to get there." She smiled at me... or at least attempted to.

The smile was one you give when your unsure, something that's a dead tell of an issue.

"Well alright then, let's go to Fiji!" Phoebe laughed at Wally's quick change in pace, but when she turned from him, the glance he gave me told me he knew something was up with her.

It took us about two hours to arrive, and Phoebe hardly spoke, just hummed.

Phoebe doesn't hum unless something is wrong, but before I could ask, Wally had swept her off of her feet and thrown her in the water already.

She came up laughing and splashing him 'angrily'. Should I say something? Maybe....

"Grayson come here! I gotta show you something!" Phoebe's giggle echoed across the empty beach.

I ran over to her curiosity getting the best of me. She pointed up to a rock tied halfway up a tree, wedged between multiple branches.

"Wait. It can't be!" I exclaimed staring at something seemingly pointless to Wally.

"It's gotta be right?! Can you get it?" I looked at Phoebe bashfully smiling at me "I'd get it myself but... still kinda messed up at the moment."

I smiled at her then started scaling the large tree. Halfway up, I finally reached the stone that managed to sit here for nearly seven years.

On the side that was facing the tree, carved in stone was "Pheebs and Gray".

"It's the same one! I can't believe it!" I climbed down showing it to her, her fingers gracefully tracing the indentations in the hard surface.

"Bruce got so pissed when he found out I took a baterang for this." The nostalgia seeping through her voice.

Then, right on cue, in speeds Wally who then eats a face full of sand.

"Bleh" was all we heard for a solid two minutes before he took our hands and started running over to the water.

That entire afternoon was bliss. Just going through the past in our minds, remembering the little treasures we hid on the island, even digging up a few. All was well with the world... until it wasn't.

I watched as Pheobe stood in ankle deep water, staring at the ocean with an unreadable look. Her body frozen, but here eyes couldn't sit still. They moved rapidly over every inch of the waters in the manner that a malfunctioning robot would do.

She collapsed to her knees still facing the water. Her head started to fallow the motion of her eyes and finally I decided to move and run up to her.

I fell to my knees beside her and tried to get her to look at me. Pheobe didn't respond. Finally, I grabbed her hand and her movements froze.

Pheobes eyes were directed at eight ahead of her, staring off just below the horizon and her head remained forward as well. But this calm was only for a moment.

Before I knew it she was screaming. Not just any scream, the strongest canary cry I've ever heard.

Her newly dried hair whipped around as if air was blowing it back, and at the same time, it was simultaneously floating like she was in water.

Pheobes eyes were glowing and her fists gripped the sand like and anchor. Water parted way due to her cry and a wall was form revealing a clear path of the ocean floor. And as those walls stood, Pheobe fell.
