"She was there! I saw her! We need to go back in!" I shout trying convince someone to let me go back.

"No." Batman calmly replied to me but I didn't stop.

"But she was right there! We need to go back in! We need to help her! I need t-"

"Enough!" Batman once again replied to me. His sentence cut me off and it was strained enough that you could tell his tough exterior was breaking. "M'gann and J'onn are tired! They can't do that again. Not right now anyway, so, I suggest you go and get a team together and get ready for a briefing because work needs to be done and you need a distraction."

I glare up at him through my mask, almost like I can see his face through his. I've never had a problem with challenging Bruce when it came to things that matter to me, and this? Her? She especially captures my attention.

"Now." That word. The word of demand and superiority. That was the word I always fold to. That's the word and tone that reminds me of being in the mansion with him and Alfred and coming home from school only to be told immediately to do my homework or go to training.

To that word I cave.

Mumbling, I proceed out of the room and down the hall to the lounging area.

I take a breath to regain my composure then draw everyone's attention to me.

"Listen up. I need Beast Boy, Miss M, Superboy, Aqualad, Zatanna, Impulse, Blue Beetle, Wonder girl and Red Robin. Come to the briefing room, we've got a mission." I instruct then stalk out of the room, struggling to keep my anger and desperation under control.

*Bruce*

After briefing the team on their mission we all set up to strategies their attack. Something big was going down in the Himalayan mountains and if it wasn't stopped, those mountains and towns around it would be no more.

"This will be a four day mission. You will infiltrate the base here," I point to a mark on the overview we have of the enormous building hidden in the mountain side " and take out the bombs here, here and here."

At that moment, Nightwing takes his chance to finish giving instruction.

"Once the bombs are taken care of, we clean out the mountain." He recites from my description to him.

"Which means what exactly?" Garfield inquires, worry striking his face. This would be his first mission, and if done correctly, not his last.

Nightwing gives a cocky smirk to him, ridding Garfield of some concern. "Meaning... We flush 'em out. After everyone else disarms the bombs and gets hostages out, Aqualad and Zatanna will use magic to work with the snow on the mountain to flood the base. They will wash out the building before freezing the water, making it impossible to enter the base again."

Everyone reads over the plan once more in their minds before giving an approving nod and heading to pack their equipment.

I turn to leave, earning a hand on my shoulder drawing my attention.

"While I'm gone, you need to watch her and if she wakes up while I'm not here, tell her I'll be back soon." His words were so strong, showing his sincerity but at the same time his concern shown through his mask and words. Just from that, I could tell how desperate he was to see her again.

I nod curtly before we both walk off in our separate directions. Me to a Zeta-tube and him back in the direction of the infirmary, to see Phoebe before heading off no doubt.

He's been in love with her since the day they met. The way he put everything on the line for her always showed how much he cared. No matter how many times I scolded him for being reckless in his searches or being distracted on patrol, that poor boy never stopped thinking about her.
