*Pheobe*

The panic fled from me and I allowed my instincts to take me. My eyes fluttered closed beneath the water as if I was slowly drifting to sleep then a wave of energy surged through me unlike anything I've felt before.

The I opened my eyes to see how the water flowed with ribbons of light some black, some white. Each with their own voices, their own faces every one more stunningly beautiful than the next. Of all the light, there was a single lilac strand and a single blood red strand.

The urge to breathe seemed to pass and all I wanted to do was listen. Hear the songs each voice was singing, the stories all of them wanted to tell me. The two unique lights came to me, circling up locks of my hair before all I could hear was them. The others grew silents but now took a uniformed way if movement, swirling around me gracefully.

The two voices were distinct but I couldnt tell which was which.

"You've come home, after so long." One cried in joy. It was the voice of a woman, not far from my age it sounded. It gave me a warm feeling as if I finally found where I belonged because I cam from there.

The other was less welcoming. The voice of a man with a gruff tone took my mind by storm. He didnt sound any older than me either, but he sounded angry from fear. "Why? It's too late now. You have no idea what you've done. Denara why?"

The voices each echoed through, as if dropping a coin into a well and it hitting the walls on the way down.

'Denara'.... what's Denara?

I tried to speak back to them but nothing came out. The voices both grew louder as if they were both shouting at me, unable to communicate with each other. All at once every light regained its voice. The noise became overwhelming.

Tears ran from my eyes blending with the water causing them to grow even louder. Finally, I slammed my hands into the water as if I were demanded to. All of the strands of light swirled up my arms, glowing before finding their place to pattern my skin.

Before I had time to react I was yanked from the water by my hair and tossed to the floor.

Before me stood the two women I entered this room with, both having their own range of emotion and unreadable expression.

"Can you read it now?" Hippolyta spat. I said nothing. "Well can you?"

Her voice dripped with disdain towards me. My entire body shook not only from the cold of the water running down my body but from the anger boiling inside me.

My body began to rise until I was standing face to face with her. What's happening? I'm not doing this.

I looked to the tablet then back to Hippolyta. Still, no words came from my mouth. I was in a battle with something inside me for control.

I felt pulses of engery go through me, one combatting another as if fighting over me. But I dont want to be fought over.

I closed my eyes focusing hard on the waves of power. One was heavy, the other light. I own me. No one else gets two.

From no where a third wave of power flooded my body, starting from my chest flowing through my veins like blood, pushing the energies invading me back.

"Pheobe, what is it that's happening?" Diana came to my side, placing her hands gently on my shoulders but I barely felt her presence again the war I was fighting. "Are you hurt?"

I tried to shake her off but all of my focus was internalized.

I've had enough. This is enough. Only I can control me.

Enough.

All at once I use every ounce of strength to push the two opposing energies into the far side of my mind. A cry escapes my lips, but not a cry of pain, rather, a cry of power.

The sound vibrates through the archive in a pulse wave. Everything shakes only slightly, seemingly unaffected by the loud noise. The two amazonian women stand braced, fighting against the strength of the push.

All at once it ends. The fight, the pulse, the anger.

My breathing is heavy and jagged. Although my palms are pressed flat to the floor my hands still shake as if my body is still fighting to contain something. I blink panic tears away before they have chance to escape.

"Pheobe?" Diana stands before me, crouching with her gaze fixed on me. " What happened?"

I raise my eyes to meet hers, earning a gasp from her lips. Before I even have a chance to answer, Hippolyta voices a reply herself grinning.

"The siren is finally awaken."
