Seeing as a few of you guys may not understand (not saying any names, E) what I'm writing, long story short. Michelle has a family secret and so does Nathan. There, that's it. Simple as that.

What was Mark doing here? I slid onto my seat. The girls seemed to notice at what I was looking at.

"What the hell is he doing here?" Ally voiced my thoughts. Her expression angered. Ally was mad for a specific reason. It's not to be told though.

"I don't know." I answered. I gestured them to follow me as we walked over to the table he was at. He turned around and smirked.

"Hey little-" before he could say anything, I punched him. Straight on the jaw. He looked shocked that I punched him twice.

"What the fucking hell are you doing here?" I whispered menacingly.

"I exchanged schools to become closer to you." That was the last straw.

Two weeks later

"Really?" I asked on the phone call.

"Yeah, he can finally play in the games." Selene replied.

"Awesome! Well, I gotta go cause my mom said tonight was my turn to cook so see ya!" I ended the call and rushed downstairs. When I entered the dining room, I regretted coming in.

"Marko, so glad to know you're in the same school as my sweet girl," my mom smiled.

"Hi Mark," I managed to hiss out.

Saturday

I had nothing to do. I played every single game on my iPad and iPhone. I did my homework. I did my chores. And, I organized everything in my room. The door swung open revealing Kat's boyfriend, Derek.

"Hey, Kat asked if you wanted to play football with us," Derek said. Now Derek, Derek is like my big brother.

"Can I invite someone?" I asked. He shrugged.

"Sure why not? So I'm guessing you're playing then right short stuff?" He asked. I nodded. He closed the door and I made a phone call.

"Hello?" His voice sounded good on a phone call too. Get on topic Michelle!!

"Hey Nathan, my sister Katrina and her boyfriend Derek are gonna play football so I was wondering if you wanted to join us," I replied. He chuckled when I said football.

"Sure, I don't see why not. Address please so I can come over." I gave him my address and he said he would come in about 20 minutes. I went towards my closet. What should I where? Really Michelle, you're just playing football, no big deal. But it is! Nathan's gonna be there! Okay now that's a big deal! I took out my shorts and tank top. Then I grabbed my flannel and wore it. I put my hair in a ponytail. I headed down stairs just as there was a knock on the door.

"Coming!" I yelled. I grabbed 4 water bottles from the refrigerator and ran to the door. I opened it and Nathan came in.

"Hi. I'm finally gonna see you play football!" He exclaimed.

"Well ha ha, I'm not that good. Oh and by the way, our backyard is quite big so it's half the size of the football field." I explained to him. He nodded at every word I said. He walked into the backyard and surprisingly, Kat and Derek weren't playing yet. Katrina was staring at me, her eyes moving from me to Nathan than back to me. She smirked and Derek was scanning Nathan. Remember when I said he was like my big brother? Well, he also acts like a big brother.

"Who's this?" He said pointing at Nathan. Nathan stuck his hand out.

"I'm Nathan. Nathan McCort. High school's quarterback." Derek shook his hand and smiled. Oh good, he approves of him.

"So what are we waiting for?" Katrina asked. "Let's play football!"

I passed it to Nathan before I just got tackled by Katrina. I didn't know what was happening but from the sounds of the groans from Derek, I'm guessing Nathan made a point for us. I got up from the floor and dusted my flannel.

"Did we do it?" I asked. Nathan nodded and I jumped for joy.

"You said you weren't good at football, well girl, I might be the first to say this but damn, you got quite an arm," he smiled. I blushed slightly.

"Let's go inside, mom's back from the market." Kat squeezed in. We headed inside. Mom was in the kitchen cooking dinner.

"Hey honey, oh who is this young man?" My mom greeted. She turned off the stove and dusted her apron.

"This is Nathan and he's the school's quarterback. He's a classmate." I said casually. I walked to the fridge to see what there was to eat. I took out a croissant sandwich and took a bite out of it.

"Well, why don't you go show him your room? Nathan can you stay over for dinner?" My mother asked.

"I'd be glad to but I need my mom's permission first." I sneakily rolled my eyes. Hot-headed jerk.
