Meeting The Group

I walked out the room, following Nathan. We walked to the lunch line, grabbing our lunch.

"So, are your friends loco, weird or insane?" I asked.

"A mixture of loco and weird, and a pinch of insane." Nathan chuckled. We reached the table. Ally, Ella and Selene were already here. A guy had blonde hair, another had black and the last one had caramel. "So Michelle, these are my friends, James, Parker and Aaron." I smiled and waved at them. James smiled and waved maniacally at me while Parker just waved. Aaron stared bullets at me.

"Um hi," I greeted. I pushed up my glasses. (Sorry I haven't mentioned the glasses much).

"Hi, are you new? Yeah? Okay!" James said. I stared at him for a while. Wow, he likes to talk.

"Well actually, I'm not new." I answered him, correctly. He looked confused.

"But I never saw you before." I froze.

"Well, let's just say, I sorta wasn't popular so not a lot of people know me." He nodded slowly. Well, I learned a lot about the guys. James was the hyper one, Parker was the normal one, and Aaron is the plain creepy stalker face boy. He didn't say a single word. Lunch ended pretty early I must admit.

"So I'll see you in Chemistry?" Parker asked. I nodded.

"And I'll see you in Science!" James exclaimed. He skipped away. Literally skipped. Boy am I beginning to like him. And no, not in the crush way. I giggled as I ran to Cooking.

So there are 8 periods besides lunch. Parker goes to my Chemistry and History. James had Science and Art with me. Aaron had Cooking with me. (Shudders). Nathan has Math with me and the girls and I have Music. But of course in different instruments. The last period is free period. I entered the Cooking room and sat down on my usual desk. The bell rang and the rest of the students came in.

"But wouldn't the baking soda-" Aaron asked.

"Shut up because no it won't explode like a crazy maniac." I answered him. We exited the room, heading outside for free period.

"But it should have a reaction to-"

"But the other ingredients keep it safe." Aaron nodded. We found the others under a tree.

"Hey guys!" Ally yelled. I sat down on the bench and looked at the beach below us. Our school was on sort of a cliff or hill, whatever ya call it. The beach was on the other side. There was also gonna be a bonfire at the beach too. Sometime later.

"I can't believe this!" Ella yelled, startling us. "That asshole thinks he can post this when I said I wasn't gonna follow him but did!" She gave me her phone as I looked at the picture on it. Ella's boyfriend, Adrian, was on the beach kissing a girl. Not just any girl, but her cousin.

"What the heck!" I shouted. I passed the phone to Selene and she gave it to Ella. Tears had already sprung out of her eyes. I saw the boys panic, as if they never handled a girl crying before. Ally went up to her step sister and hugged her.

"It's okay Ella, Adrian wasn't your prince in shining white armor. He's the evil king who imprisoned you. You'll find your prince soon. I promise." Ally whispered. The boys just stared at Ally, sticking every single word she said.

"And that's how you handle a crying girl." I said to the boys.

Ella laughed loudly. Seems like James was her "prince". The group (Me, Ella, Ally, Selene, Nathan, James, Parker, Aaron) and I were at Starbucks, drinking our drinks. I tapped on my phone, texting my sister. My phone was captured by a hand and I spun around. Nathan was holding my phone.

"Hey, give that back!"

"Then what did I say?"

"You asked me if I wanted to play truth or dare."

"Here." He gave me my phone as we all walked out of Starbucks. Walking a few blocks wasn't bad. We sat on the grass of my house.

"Okay so, I'll ask first." Aaron said.

"Sure, okay."

"Nathan, truth or dare?"

"Dare, dude."

"Okay, we got a dare demon here!! Ahem, I dare you to kiss the prettiest girl here. Prettiest in your opinion, not your sister though." Nathan looked at us, as in Ella, Ally and me, and his eyes stopped on me. I looked down and blushed. I heard the soft crunching of grass and I looked up. Nathan's face was only centimeters away from mine. My heart was thumping so loud.

"I'm sorry if I ruined your first kiss...." He whispered and closed the gap between us. I was shocked. I was frozen. I couldn't move. I let the moment last until he went back to his seat. I felt Ally's eyes on me and I looked at her. She wiggled her eyebrows and I blushed even more red. Parker, Aaron and James looked at me.

"Um, can we continue the game please?" I asked. I touched my lips one more time. Wow, he didn't ruin my first kiss. But does he not like me for saying that?
