Camp Half-Blood Prank Wars!

A Real Thunderbolt?

Rose, daughter of Zeus.

Rose was extremely excited for the Prank Wars. Even though she had made no enemies at Camp Half-Blood, she was still looking forward to seeing how many cabins - or people - she could prank.

Sha had just been down to the training area to practice some swordfighting. She was only relatively new at camp, so she hadn't had much of a chance to become good at any type of fighting. Rose was also thinking of who she could prank first, whilst she was training.

"Hey Rose, how are you going?" Two people were walking towards me. Their names were unfamiliar to Rose, but she knew that they were from the Nemesis and Hades cabin. She shuddered. They would make a dangerous combination during this week.

"Hey. I don't think I know what your names are, sorry. But how do you know my name?"

"I'm Lissa, daughter of Nemesis, and the is Arianna, daughter of Hades. We know you because, well we just know you."

"Are you guys gonna be participating in Prank Week? 'Coz it's gonna be really fun!!" It wasn't Rose's fault that she had so much excitement in her voice, it was the fact that this was her first group activity that she was able to participate in. Capture the Flag wasn't really her style, and she had seen what those Ares kids could do. She actually wanted to survive her time at camp without being seriously injured.

Lissa and Arianna were giggling, and trying not to laugh. "Oh, we already have. It will be quiet a surprise for the Poseidon cabin." Arianna said, with laughing. With that, they both walked off, leaving Rose in a state of confusion.

She put down her practice sword, and walked out of the arena. "I may as well go back to my cabin, I guess." She was speaking to herself, and quite surprisingly, no one heard her. "Is anyone alive? Helloo?!" Rose was unsure of what to do. Maybe they were all playing a prank on her for some reason. She wasn't sure why though. She was just the new girl at camp, nothing special.

As Rose walked up to her cabin, she took a breath and walked inside. Her brothers an sisters were sitting on their beds, and they were all looking at something that was on the floor.

"Guys?! What happened? What's wrong?!" Rose was trying to get a look at what was on the floor, but she could only see the tip of a lightning bolt.

"Well, it appears that someone, or some people have pranked us." It was London, the oldest child of Zeus, and the counsellor.

"Is that why everyone is hiding away? 'Coz there's no one outside at all."

"Could be because they know that when we find out who did this, the whole Zeus cabin will explode with rage." This time it was Adrian speaking. Adrian was a demigod son of Hermes, and as much as he liked joking around and pranking people, the whole Zeus cabin knew he wouldn't have done this.
"Can I have a look at what they've done?"

"Go ahead. Not like it will harm you."

Rose walked further into the cabin to see what had been done. Lying in the middle of the floor was a lighting bolt. A fake one, but it was extremely well decorated, with sapphires and gems, that made it look real. At one end of the cabin there was a poster of Zeus that had been hung up using an arrow. The arrow was straight through his head. It would have made The Lord of the Sky, very,very unhappy. On a spare bed, there were a heap of mousetraps, and a note. Rise figured that the mousetraps must have been laid out around the cabin, in a hope that someone might step on one with bare feet, and catch their toe in the trap.

"Can I read the note?" The whole cabin nodded.

Rose picked up the note and started reading aloud;
To the lovely Zeus cabin,
Did you like what we did? We found it quite amusing! Especially the poster of Zeus. It was the perfect finishing touch. By the way, the materials we used are in he Poseidon cabin. Don't worry, none of them did it. We just thought it was a good place to hide our stuff!

"L and A? London and Adrian's initials? But you guys wouldn't have done have done this!"

"Everyone know that. It was someone else with the initials L and A." This time it was Tom, a son of Zeus. "There aren't many people with the initials L and A."

"Wait! Today I met two people, with the names Lissa and Arianna. Maybe they did this!" Rose suddenly remembered her earlier encounter with them. They sounded like the type of people who would prank a whole cabin together.

"Sorry Rose, but until we get some more information, we can't know for certain it was them. But maybe London and I can go and talk to them."

Rose's mood went from happy to sad within the space of Adrian saying that sentence. It wasn't his fault that they couldn't accused Lissa and Arianna, but Rose was excited that she had discovered who had pranked them.

"Don't worry Rose. Together, me and you can get them back." Tom was trying to make sure his younger sister was alright.

"Let's get started right away!"
