Caught In a Trap

Mercedes was in her cabin, preparing for her first prank on the Apollo cabin. She was excited, as it was her first time that she was going to be pulling a prank on anyone. She had done a bit of research, and she had talked to the Hermes kids about pulling pranks, and what a good prank to play was. They had given her many answers, and they also wanted to make an alliance with her, just in case she pranked them.

A couple of hours later, she had the best idea ever for a prank. (Or so she thought.)
The Hermes cabin helped her get everything ready. All she needed was lots and lots of string.
She left the Hermes cabin and went to the Apollo cabin. There were a few people inside, so she needed to think about how she could distract them. It was becoming hard for her to think, until she remembered that the Hermes cabin wanted to make an alliance with her, so she rushed back to the Hermes cabin.

"Hey guys, is anyone willing to help me distract the Apollo cabin?" Mercedes asked, hoping for an answer.

"Sure, but as long as you don't prank us. What's the plan?" A guy that Mercedes remembered as Jack, came forward to speak.

"Well, I was thinking that a few people could go down to the arena, and steal the Apollo cabin's bows and arrows, and then someone else could tell them that they're all gone."

"Sounds good. Let's go guys!" Jack called out to the rest of the cabin, and a few people followed him, excited that they got to play a part in this prank.

Mercedes followed everyone down to the arena. Once they all got there, it was a race against time to make sure that no Apollo kids came down to the arena. Because they couldn't actually harm the weapons, they just needed to find a place to put them, and keep the Apollo kids away from their cabin.
Once Mercedes, Jack, and the others who had came down to the arena had hidden the weapons, went up to the Apollo cabin to tell them that their weapons were gone.

"Hi, all of us were just down at the arena, and we realised that all of your weapons were gone."
The kids in the Apollo cabin looked at them in disbelief. There was no way that their weapons could be gone. It was impossible. The counselor of the Apollo cabin came to the front of the pack.

"Did you see anyone doing this? Were you there?" Even the counselor couldn't believe it. He was in a state of shock.

"Nope, we just went down to the arena, and where the bows are supposed to be, there was nothing there."

The kids of the Apollo cabin ran. They ran as fast as they could to try and get down to the arena, so they could figure out who had stolen their bows. 

As soon as they were out of the way, Mercedes went into the Apollo cabin, and she moved everything but the beds out of the way. Once everything was at the back of the room, she started to wind the string everywhere. She wrapped it around beds, so it was impossible to get into bed, and she continued wrapping it around the whole cabin until it looked like a spiderweb. Once she was done, she made her way out of the Apollo cabin, and back to her own cabin, so she wouldn't get caught.
