Natsu POV

"Well?" I questioned "Where the hell is it?"

Erza bit back a whimper of defeat, her hair falling in front of her face.
"Natsu..." She began slowly, trying to hold herself together, hoping - just hoping - that she was reading something wrong.
"It isn't here... It was a false trail, a distraction, a lie... She isn't here..."
I clenched my fists. "Good joke! Now show me where the hell it is! Where is she!?!" I yelled, knowing that she wasn't joking. The Cathedral wasn't here. Lucy wasn't here.
"Nats-"
"Shut up!" I boomed, my hands bursting into a bright, burning flame, catching both of my team members off guard.
Gray quickly pushed Erza back and got into a sloppy defensive stance, his hands shaking slightly. "Natsu." He warned, a cold aura emitting off of him.

I shook my head and turned my back to them, the flames gradually disappearing. "You're wrong! She is here! She has to be!"
I glanced back at them, a single tear running down my cheek.
"Where else?" I mumbled, and ran.

Rouge POV

I arrived in Magnolia, shaking. Where were they? I'd been looking around for hours! They weren't at the guild, –I checked through a window as I didn't want to be seen– they weren't at the station...
What are you doing, Sting! I need to get to Lucy! God forbid you've let anything happen to her... I curled my fists up, my knuckles turning white.
Dammit!

Sting POV

I rubbed my face in exhaustion. Lucy had thrown a full-blown hissy fit outside build-a-bear because I refused to let her make one. Guess who won the argument? That's right, not me.
She'd proceeded drop her bear, Celeste, in a puddle, causing yet another flood of tears...
When would the torture end?
She then insisted, if you'd call a fit of screaming 'insisting', that we dry clean Celeste because apparently dabbing dry with a napkin wasn't enough for her. Ugh.
And that is the story on how I blew every last penny on my person on a four year old and her teddy bear. Oh how I envy full-time parents.

Currently, though, I was being dragged along by the sleeve by the four year old in question, heading to who-knows-where.
"Lucy!? Can we please stop for a second??" I said, pulling against her.
She shook her head and continued marching forward, tugging my more and more as we went.
"Stingy-bee! Hurry up!" She wined, stomping her foot down angrily.
"L- Lucy! Can we just..." I tripped up "Stop for a second? I need to take you somewhere!" She stopped abruptly, and we both looked up at the towering building above us, in unison.

Oh. Nevermind.
