2.

Normal POV

A small blonde child ventured through the cover of the trees, her feet bare and sore.
"Mama? Papa?" The girl stopped in her tracks and fell to her knees. She curled into a ball and sobbed, exhausted and scared.
"Where are you?" She whimpered.
She looked at her hand and saw the emblem. She didn't know what it was but she knew it was important. She held it to her chest and more tears streamed from her eyes, creating streaks on her dirty face.

Sting POV

I didn't know where I was. Somewhere in the forest. I'd just stormed off, away from the guild, not paying attention to where I went.
"Baka!" I scalded myself, rubbing my temples with my fingers.
How was I meant to find an exit when I didn't even know where I was?
"Papa?" Called a fragile voice, a few paces in front of me.
I looked over and saw a little girl, around 3 or 4 at the base of a tree. She was looking at me with pleading eyes, red from crying.
"What? Am I imagining things?" I said aloud, staring at the child.
She stood and limped over to me, her feet raw and painful, and fell at my boots, bawling.
I picked her up carefully and she whimpered, afraid.
"I-it's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you." I reassured her.
She smiled slightly and gripped onto my shirt with tiny hands. On her hand was the Fairy Tail emblem.
"What? You're part of Fairy Tail? You're barely able to speak in full sentences and you're in the most powerful guild in Fiore?"
The girl stared at me blankly, understand nothing of what I just said.
I sighed. "What are you doing out here?" I asked, knowing I wouldn't get an answer.
'I should get her back go Fairy Tail.' I thought 'But it's getting late and by the time I get there no one will even be there.'
I decided to take her back to Sabertooth with me, figuring I could just take her back home tomorrow morning.

Natsu POV

"Ugh..." I groaned "where am I?"
I looked around me and saw the clearing where I'd been struck down. I didn't sense the dark wizard anymore so I stood up.
"Lucy?" I called out. Where was she? "Lucy?!"
I ran through the forest for what must've been hours, tears threatening to spill from my eyes. "Lucy!? Where are you?" I yelled. No response.
I couldn't smell her, or even sense the slightest bit of magic power. I ran until I found the forest's edge and sprinted to the train station. I knew I'd have trouble not throwing up but it was the quickest way to get back to Magnolia. And I need to get back to the guild in order to find Lucy.

Gray POV

The flame dragon slayer burst through the guild doors and everyone noticed there was something wrong. He was beat up and panting, his face streaked with tears.
"Is Lucy here?!" He practically yelled
"No. I thought she went on a job wit you?" I responded, the same confused look on my face as everyone else's.
He crumpled to the floor, his face in his hands. "Lucy..."
Mira ran up to him and led him to a chair, bringing him a glass of water and tissues.
I walked up to him and stood in front of him, several others following.
"What happened to Lucy, Natsu?" I questioned, laying a hand on his shoulder.
He looked up at me and tore my hand away, a look of pure hate in his eyes. "I lost her! She was taken by that dark guild wizard we were meant to defeat." He looked down, his gaze softer "I was meant to protect her!" He stood up and stormed past everyone, heading to the doors.
"We need to find her! I need to find her" He yelled reaching for the door handle.
"Natsu!" Yelled Erza "We all want to find her," she said, gesturing towards the guild members around her "but you and I and everyone know that going out at this time of day makes finding her almost impossible."
Natsu growled "I don't care! We have to find her!" He called as he started to open the door.

Gajeel POV

"No way." I stepped infront of him, taking his hand from the door.
He pushed me out the way and began to leave again.
"Don't make me hurt you, Salamander." I said, pulling him back inside again.
He ignored me and went past, his eyes determined.
I ran out infront of him and hit him across the guild with iron club, smashing him against the wall "Salamander! If you want to  find Bunny Girl, wait until tomorrow morning. If you'd listened to Erza you'd understand! You've got no chance of finding her when it's this dark!" I shouted.

Natsu POV

Gajeel hit me and I was thrown to the other side of the hall. He was right. As much as I hate to admit it. We had no chance of finding her at this time. And I was tired.
I nodded and heard a few sighs of relief. I stood and looked at everyone in turn "Tomorrow morning, we're looking for her. As soon as I'm here, we leave for where I last saw her."
Everyone nodded and I left the guild hall, Happy following sadly, heading towards my house.
'What could they be doing to her?' I thought to myself, gritting my teeth.

Sting POV

I walked into the guild, the girl asleep in my arms. Almost everyone turned to face me and looked at me, their faces a mix of confusion an shock
"I found her in the forest." I said, giving everyone a bit of relief. "She's got the Fairy Tail emblem on her hand." I called out, to no one in particular.
Minerva walked over and looked at her, her face calm and knowing. "There's no mistaking it, that's Lucy Heartfilia." She said and nodded to herself.
Everyone stared, confused to as how the 17 year old could be the same person as the sleeping child I had in my arms.
"The dark wizard guild, Itami, has a wizard, who has been found around here, who can turn people into their worst nightmares." She said, explaining why Lucy was in a child's body. "Lucy was scared of being a child again. She was scared of reliving her past." She looked at me "She I'd your responsibility now, Sting." She said and walked out, leaving me with the rest of the guild.
"B-but! But I don't know how to look after a child!" I yelled, it was too late. The rest of the guild slowly began to leave the guild for the day and I decided to do the same. I walked back to my apartment, baby Lucy still asleep.

Lucy POV

I woke up in the arms of the blonde man. He was carrying me towards an apartment block.
"Mnn." I murmured and he stopped, smiling down at me.
"I see you're awake, Lucy!" He said, his eyes kind.
"How... How do you know my name?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.
"I'm magic." He said. I laughed and he looked slightly shocked.
"My name's Sting." He continued.
"Like a bee." I commented.
"Huh? A bee?" He questioned
"Stingy-bee." I replied, smiling and giggling.
He laughed and walked into his apartment.
He put me down on his couch and ran to his communication lacrima, watching me.

Sting POV

Rouge would know what to do, he's good at that kind of stuff. I thought, grabbing the communication lacrima.
"Rouge? Rouge!" I said
"Sting? What do you need?" He replied, clearly frustrated.
"Uh... Well, this might sound weird... But..." I paused, the shadow dragon slayer interrupting.
"But what!" I questioned, his tone sharp.
"I kind of found Lucy Heartfilia in the woods and didn't have time to take her back to Magnolia so she's kinda staying with us for the night..." I said quickly, waiting for his angry response.
"Uh okay? What's so bad about that?" He said calmly
"Oh. I must've not said..."
"Not said what!?" He yelled at me.
"I-I.... Uh... She's like.... Four." I said, wincing
"I'll be home in ten minutes." He said and sweatdropped.
I hung up and looked at Lucy, her eyes were wide and she laughed at me.
