Sting POV

Oh. Nevermind.

The huge guild hall loomed before us, casting a long, dark shadow on the ground beyond it.

Well, at least we found it.
I sighed. Why was I feeling like I would lose something? Lucy doesn't mean that much to me. We'd only been with each other for a few days, and, she'll have forgotten about me by tomorrow... I just... didn't want to let her go yet.

I had to. There was no choice. It was for her own good. What could I do that her own guild couldn't? Exactly. There was nothing I could contribute.

Unles-
"Sting?" Questioned a stern, gruff voice from behind me.
I turned around quickly, sweeping Lucy up into my arms, causing her to squeal in defiance and putting my arm out in a shabby form of defence "Who goes ther- oh, Gajeel." I sighed in relief and put my arm down, calming Lucy with a smile.
"Lu-chan...?" I heard someone mumble from behind the other dragon slayer and two short, blue haired mages stepped out from behind him. The shorter of the two, Wendy, smiled at me and waved politely, while the other gave me a hard glare and eyed Lucy carefully.
"Oi, Shrimp!" Began Gajeel, giving the small child in my arms the same look, glancing over to 'shrimp' "Are you thinking the same thing?"
'Shrimp' mumbled something and nodded, standing up straight and smiling brightly at me, sticking a hand out. "I'm Levy." I juggled Lucy in my arms in order to stick my hand out to shake in return, and smiled awkwardly. "S-Sting. Sabertooth..."

Gajeel coughed and stepped forward, his intimidating size forcing me to tilt my head in order to look at his face. "So, Saber," he began, turning to the other two, receiving a nod and a slight wince of anticipation from Wendy. "what do you happen to be doing with our Bunny Girl?"

Well, at least it wasn't me breaking the bad news.

Rouge POV

Okay Rouge, calm down, you've still got... I told myself in a futile attempt to calm myself down as I glanced up to the clock in the centre of Magnolia as I rushed past. Ten minutes.
Wait.
Only ten minutes?! And I haven't even found Sting yet! At this rate, Lucy will never be back to the way she should be... If only I weren't so utterly useless!

Natsu POV

It was fake. The cathedral didn't even exist. Lucy wasn't at a funeral. Lucy wasn't in Clover. Lucy. Lucy was still lost.

Lucy.

I have to get back to guild. Rethink. Plan. Try again. And again. And again. Until we find her.

As soon as I had turned away from Erza and Gray, I had ran. Where? Who knows. Why? I couldn't deal with the truth.
I continued to run, knowing now that I could only help Lucy with the help of others.
I ran on to the guild hall, squeezing my eyes shut to stop the tears that wear flowing down my face.
'Thud.'
I slammed into someone, falling onto my back on the hard ground. I stood up quickly and brushed past them, whispering a quick sorry and continuing to the guild hall.
"W-wait!" They yelled and I turned around quickly, slightly angered. I glanced at their face, wiping the tears from my eyes. They better have a damn good reason for stopping m-

"Why the f.uck are you here, Saber boy?"

Okay hi.
I know this update took an age but I just completely forgot what was happening and it took a while to get back into the swing of the story.
↓↓QUESTION ↓↓
Do you have an opinion on who you want Lucy to be shipped w/ by the end of the story?
Tbh the current options are Sting or Natsu, as I feel that Rouge hasn't been as big of a part in Lucy's part of the story.
Please comment which one you'd like the story to end with as it will make it a lot easier to write, aight?
