A Different Side Of Me (RavenxBeast Boy Fanfic)

Happy Birthday?

A small crash woke Raven up, she tried to look around but was instantly blind folded. She screeched and tried to fight her way free but she was instantly restrained. She felt herself being dragged off somewhere, after several turns and bumps the blind fold was removed. She was in her room facing her bed

"Rae..?"  familiar voice came from behind her. She turned to see Beast Boy standing there with the blind fold in his hands.

"Garfiekd, what's going on?" She demanded.

"It's a surprise" He said sheepishly. Raven cocked her head in confusion

"A surprise?" She asked sounding lost.

"For your birthday" Beast Boy said flatly "Don't tell me you forgot your own  birthday!" He exclaimed looking at her with wide eyes.

Raven dropped her head and nodded. Beast Boy smiled and hugged her, then he stepped back and looked around. He didn't touch anything he only looked

"This could use some green" He joked looking at himself in her mirror. Raven smiled and walked over beside him, she was just a little taller than him now. After his last birthday he grew several inches, she looked at him in the mirror and sized him up. He really had changed, he wasn't skinny anymore. He had beefed up and gained muscle. His hiar was longer but it looked good, he also changed his outfit. Raven sighed and realized they had all changed. Robin's hair was longer, he wore darker clothes, he was much more muscular, and he was almost as tall as Cyborg. Cyborg had upgraded his limbs. They were black instead of blue now, he wasa much more powerful. Starfire had changed her outfit, not a different color but a different style. Her hair was longer to, she even curled the bottom now. Raven was also changing, her outfit was white. Showing that she was in much more control of her powers, and her hair was longer, not by much, but a little.

She sighed and walked over to her bed and sat down. Beast Boy noticed she was kind of down and joined her

"What is it Rae?" He asked putting an arm around her.

"Were getting older" She said flatly. Rven didn't like change. She wanted things to stay the same, sadly that could never happen. She bit her lip and tried to get over the thought of one day not living with Beast Boy.

"So? Were still together" Beast Boy said tightening his grip.

"But we'll eventuall float apart" Raven sighed and let her hair cover her face.

"Raven I'll always be here for you" Beast Boy said moving her hair back and forcing her to look at him. She smiled and hugged him tightly. Beats Boy leaned back an dkissed her chakra gem on her head. She blushed

"Garfield I..."

BANG!

Cyborg stood there at the door. He had a wide grin on his face. He barged in and hauled Beast Boy and her up. He dragged them down the hall and to the living room door, he spun Raven around and blind folded her again. She grumbled but went along with it. She felt herself being led into the living room

"OK! YOU CAN TAKE THE BLIND FOLD OFF NOW!" Cyborg boomed. Raven shuddered and took it off hesitantly. The living room was decorated with blue and white banners. A huge banner was hung infront of the window, it read Happy 17th Birthday, she smiled and looked over to the kitchen where presents and cakes were stacked up. She giggled and looked back to her friends

"This is all so amazing, thank you so much!" She said looking around amazed. Beast Boy stood beside her now, he lightly bumped her, she smiled and bumped him back.

"Ok Raven, were each going to take you out today" Robin announced proudly.

"I shall be taking you out first friend" Starfire said happily. She grabbed her hand and quickly led off towards an unknown destination. Raven sighed happily and sped up to keep up with her. Starfire led her out of the Tower and flew into town. She led Raven to the local mall and dragged her through several stores, Raven tried on several outfits, but none seemed to really strike her interest.
