Nightmares

"Come on friend! It's your big day!"  Starfire smiled and pulled Raven's hand. Raven pulled away and looked confused

"What do you mean Starfire?" She asked with a confused look.

"It is the day you and friend Beast Boy are to be married!" She giggled and pulled Raven along into a white room. Starfire left and came back with a long white dress, she set it out in front of Raven

"I will leave so you can change" She said already floating out the door. Raven sat down and shook her head, she breathed out and changed slowly. She came out and saw Starfire smile brightly. She blushed and felt Starfire leading her away. They went into another white room, Starfire sat her down in front of a mirror and began to do her make up.

After several sneezes Raven was ready to walk down the isle. She grabbed her ball of flowers and viel then headed for the huge double doors. Starfire opened them for her and quickly flew to take her place as the brides maid. Raven saw Beast Boy standing there, a nice black tux with a green bow tie. She smiled and walked down the isle to the music, her heart was about to beat out of her chest. She kept her eyes focused on him, if she didn't she would probably run back into the dressing room. He gave her a reassuring nod.

Cyborg and Robin stood there on the side by Beast Boy. They each nodded to Raven as a sign of reassurance as well. Raven smiled gratefully and hurried up to Beast Boy, not caring about the music. He smiled and wrapped an arm around her waist, he pulled her close to help calm her down. She sighed happily and felt her pulse rate slowing.

Raven looked up at Beast Boy and saw him looking down at her lovingly. She felt butterflies in her stomach, she smiled up at him and winked. He chuckled and played with a piece of her long hair that was hanging down from her bun. she blushed and jumped when she heard the preacher talk

"We are gathered here today.." Raven tuned out after that part. She leaned against Beast Boy and sighed happily. She heard Starfire giggled with delight.

"If anyone has any reason these two should not wed, speak now or forever hold your peace"

CRASH

"I do" A dark voice came from the dust.

Raven stood there horrified as her father stormed up to them and smiled darkly at them. Beast Boy roared with anger and launched himself at him.

Robin and Cyborg sprung into action. They ran after the two as they rolled down the isle, Starfire stood in front of Raven protectively. Raven felt tears coming to her eyes, she dropped to her knees and hid her face in her hands. She heard grunts and screeches coming from the battle.

Raven snapped her head up and locked her eyes on her father. She stood up and ran for him, she tackled him and they went rolling. She felt his feet connect with her stomach, she cried out and was sent flying back into the wall. She dropped down and stood back up, her face dark with rage

"My dear daughter, you were meant to destroy the world, not have a happy ending" He said and grinned darkly.

Raven shook her head and cried out in anger, she felt power explode from her body. Her father flew back and through a wall, she sat on her knees and gasped for breath. Beast Boy was immediately at her side, he pulled her up and ran out the front door with her

"Stay here" He ordered and ran back inside the church. Raven heard screams, she saw people fleeing for their lives. She heard crying and explosions in the distance, buildings were crumbling, cracks in the ground started to form. Demons crawled out from them and began to chase people. She sniffled and tried to fight a few off but her powers wouldn't work
