***CHAPTER 2***
I'm in the train, standing alone looking at everyone around me. I know no one. Well, except for my brother of course, Tobias. I wonder where he is. Probably working.
I see a boy laughing with two girls. His smile is bright and kind, and I can't help noticing how tall and tan he is. He must be born Dauntless, you can tell easily, because he seems like he knows almost everyone there.
I'm lost in my thoughts. Did I make the right choice? Do I belong here? I'm pretty sure I do... I always knew it.
"Hey!" a voice brings me back to reality. I turn around and see this tall boy I saw before, smiling.
"Hi there" I say and I smile back.
"I'm Uriah, born Dauntless" he says pretending to be seductive and stuff. He laughs. "And you are?"
"Hey Uriah, born Dauntless" I laugh too. "I'm Emma. I came from Abnegation."
He seems surprised. "Whoa! Brave to come here from Abnegation, congratulations. Hope you have fun with us, we're pretty cool people. And funny. And crazy."
I roll my eyes and smile. "Yes, I will have fun. Alive, I hope."
"Come on, be positive. You're gonna meet new friends, probably get a boyfriend..." he winks and we laugh.
"Guess I already made a friend" I say.
He grabs my hand. "Now, now. We gotta jump. Don't die." he says and smiles.
"Thanks for comforting me!" I say. I try not to look nervous. I see the rooftop. "Oh, god..." I whisper.
And then, we jump.
