"Sharpkit, Emberkit and Foxkit have reached six moons and are ready to start their apprenticeship" Wildstar announced. The three young kits looked nervous. Lionstorm remembered his apprentice ceremony. He was so proud when he found out Cloudfoot was to be his mentor.
"Emberkit, From this moment forwards until you earn your warrior name, you shall be known as Emberpaw. Robinflight will be your mentor" Wildstar announced, as she turned to Foxkit. "Foxkit, From this moment forwards until you earn your warrior name, you shall be known as Foxpaw. Tigerblaze will be your mentor" Wildstar's voice echoed through the clan.
"And finally, Sharpkit from this moment on, until you have earned your warrior nae, you shall be known as Sharppaw" Wildstar paused for a moment, and scanned over the area. Her gaze fell onto Lionstorm.
"Lionstorm will be your mentor!" She announced. Lionstorm froze. He was supposed to mentor an apprentice? "Lionstorm? We're waiting" Wildstar snapped him out of his thoughts. "O-oh right" He stammered, as he got to his paws. He made his way through the crowd, and saw Sharppaw waiting form him.
Her eyes were filled with excitement. Lionstorm smiled. He felt the same way she did, when Cloudfoot became his mentor. Lionstorm padded up right beside her. He touched her nose with his. He could feel Sharppaw shudder with excitement. Maybe being a mentor wont be that bad after all.
