Jay's POV

Evening drew in and I'd gone back to my flat. Nathan had said he couldn't stay for the night as Max was going over to help write new material for the new album, which was fair enough.

I sat in my flat, thinking about Nathan. It was still quite hard for me to take in that he actually loved me now, considering everything we'd previously been through. I looked at my phone, staring at the wallpaper I had; it was a photo of Nathan and I on tour, way before I came out about loving him. I yawned and headed towards the bedroom. I smiled as I thought to myself:

"Nathan will be in here with me soon."

-the next morning-

I was meeting Nathan to do recordings for the new album this morning at 10:30. But I wasn't having the best morning. I couldn't find my Converse, I'd tripped over the coffee table and hadn't had breakfast. Oh and it was 10:15. As I headed to the kitchen, my phone went off. I stopped and smiled as I read the text from Nathan:

'Morrrnin love,

Left for the studio, see you there :)<3'

As I was about to text back my reply, another message came through;

'P.S. I love you <3'

A Cheshire cat-like grin swept across my face; the fact that Nathan actually loved me still hadn't fully sunk in. I didn't bother grabbing any food, it was too late to eat now. I picked up my jacket, heading out the door and texting back Nathan at the same time.

'Morning sloth ;)

Just leaving too, I'll be there soon <3'

Walking down the stairs, I deliberately sent the 'P.S' message back after the first text:

'P.S. I love you too <3'

I rushed out of the building; luckily the studio was quite close to where I lived so I didn't have much of a walk. When I reached the studio, I checked my phone, as Nathan hadn't turned up yet. I had another message from him:

'Oh so you get 'love' and I get 'sloth'?! It better not be my pet name!<3'

As I was about to text my reply, I was hugged from behind.

"Don't even think about calling me a sloth" I could hear the humour in Nathan's voice.

"But what kind of boyfriend would I be if I wasn't honest?" I asked, grinning, "Besides, you're just like one."

I turned around to look at him, scowling at me with his arms crossed. I was struggling to not laugh at him, his scowl made him look more cute than angry. But it was no good; the laughter got the better of me.

"Fine, laugh at me. I'm going" Nathan turned his head, walking off like a diva.

I chased after him, grabbing his waist from behind and picked him up.

"Jay!" Nathan laughed, squirming to get out of my grip.

His laugh, one of the sweetest sounds I'd ever heard. That was one of the things about Nathan I loved so much, every time he laughed I'd end up with a smile on my face.

"Oi, Jay, are you gonna put me down or what?"

I didn't realise I was so deep in thought, still holding Nathan off the floor. I placed Nathan down and he turned to me. Nathan looked up, held my face and kissed me. The world suddenly seemed to stop. I kissed him back, my hands resting on his waist, pulling him closer to me. But Nathan broke the kiss and looked at me, his eyes seemed to glisten whenever we looked at each other. But I'd always blush whenever he looked at me.
